The only reason my score is low, is because they do not have hairstylists that have experience cutting or working with African-American hair types. Unfortunately for me, going to a black owned hair salon is challenging because they are ALWAYS booked when I need a hair cut/style. Outside of that, I'm sure this location probably does great for the clients that they cater to.

I have been going to Theory Hair Salon for well over a year now, & I won't go anywhere else. My usual Hairstylist is Cecilia, She is phenomenal, I consistently get compliments on my hair, and the entire staff is professional, courteous, & friendly. Good vibes all around. The atmosphere is relaxed yet trendy, & they'll even serve you a nice glass of wine, while they pamper you! Even though Cecilia is my usual stylist, I believe anyone on their staff will make you very happy.

I made an appointment on a Saturday, it was the week before I went on a trip and I wanted my hair to look nice for pictures, seeing family, etc. They were really short staffed; I had two different stylists over the course of three hours and people who came in after me got helped before me. I asked for a 4-inch trim (to get rid of my split ends) and an ombre balayage. It would have been worth the wait and disorganization if my hair turned out amazing, but I still came out with split ends (because the girl only spent about 7 minutes cutting my hair while helping other guests, and another stylists kept asking her to do other things instead once she had started cutting) and even though I specifically asked for the tips of my hair not to be blonde because it would be too light for my skin tone, it came out blonde anyway. My stylist reminded me at the end to come back in in a few weeks for more toner or the color would fade to a reddish-brown, but that's what I wanted in the first place. I had brought in pictures to make sure it got done correctly, but it wasn't. She also quoted me at the beginning and asked if the price was okay, maybe because I look young, but then the total changed when I paid out. It was $50 more than what she quoted me, and I used a $20 first-time customer coupon on it, which basically just covered the tip and didn't actually help with the payment. What's the point in quoting me before we start if it's going to go up 20% after we're done? I will not be returning or recommending.

Hello!!! I did hair coloring and hair cut yesterday with Isabella (hope spelling the name right). The color was bit light for my skin tone and I was bit worried. I have contacted Isabella for darkening of the colored portions. She had asked me to come down and darkened my hair color. It looks absolutely amazing. Thank you so much. And haircut is very good. They are friendly and supportive.

Very bad experience, they book two customer for the same time, same stylist. So the stylist was styling someone else while cutting my hair and needless to say, she did not pay any attention to what she was doing. I had to get my hair fixed some where else. Oh, and they will still charge you the full amount, no matter how many customers they are servicing at the same time.
