I recently moved to the area from out of state and needed a root touch up and cut BAD. What I got was a bad retouch and even worse cut. I was already nervous about going somewhere new that doesn't have much of a social media presence for me to see the work they do and the stylists with good reviews seem to not work there anymore. Prior to my appointment time, the lady at the front desk called to see if I could come in 30 minutes later, which wasn't a problem. When I showed up I waited another 20 for Fallon to return to the salon. I've had my hair colored every 8-12 weeks for the past 15 years, which has consisted of full head foils and toner to keep my already light hair, bright blond and typically a trim/shape up of a long bob. This time, sloppy foils, no toner, then she butchered the back of hair. It's so bad that my guy friend asked me why I had such a hard line from where she put the dye and why the back of my head looked like that. I'll add pictures later, but "layers" shouldn't look like a kid took scissors to the back of my head. To add insult to injury, $180 for the worst cut and color I've ever had. I could have paid for gas and getting my hair done with someone who takes pride in the work they do and leaves me with gorgeous color and cuts. I would rather drive the 6 hours round trip than have my hair done here again.

Kathy Hong is the best at highlight and haircut. It took her 2 hours on my hair. She’s fast and good . I used to go other places and it took them 5 hours also did a horrible job. I’m so happy with Kathy. She’s very professional very patient and gentle. She did what I ask for. I would recommend her !!!

Kathy Hong at Azure extremely good. I’m so happy with my color and haircut. She always make me feel so pretty! I love my highlights, color, and haircut. She is very good at curling my hair it lasted for 3-4 days I’m so happy and I love her 😍

In response to Kathryn* I apologize that you were not satisfied with my service, however, it would have been in your best interest to have expressed that with me in order to provide you with the best experience. I asked many times how you liked your hair and your response was nothing but positive and gracious. I have been in this business for over ten years and this is the first time I have ever had a complaint regarding my skills. I take great pride in my work and making my clients happy. Also, we discussed in detail the toner I applied to your hair at the bowl before shampooing it, so I am not sure why you think I did not complete that crucial step. I tone all of my blondes unless they request otherwise. Your hair turned out so beautiful that the other stylists were complimenting it before you left, and I had regretted not taking a picture for my portfolio. It’s unfortunate you chose to say nothing then proceed to use the internet as an outlet to express your dissatisfaction, because not speaking up is a sure fire way to not receive what you want.
