The male stylist is nice and does a good job. He even fit in time to cut my hair when my job made me late for an appointment. But I just had my hair screwed up by a new female stylist! She didn’t know how to work the register, she left me for too long under the dryer, and she poked me in the eye. It was an accident of course; these things wouldn’t normally bother me, except that she didn’t listen to me and ruined my haircut. She was very hard to understand and maybe there’s a language barrier, but if she can’t communicate with clients, how will she give them what they want? I showed her pictures of what I wanted and specifically told her I did NOT want bangs cut straight across my forehead. I wanted longer side bangs. When she started cutting she asked if I wanted texture, I asked her to clarify, and she said it adds body/volume, so I said okay. Volume is good.... But then she cut my bangs **straight across my forehead**! I was screaming internally, but couldn’t say anything because the deed was done. Then as she “textured” the bangs got shorter and shorter, exactly the opposite of what I wanted. To add insult to injury, she *repeatedly* insinuated that I was balding!!! Yes my hair is fine, but I’m not losing my hair! I’ve never had a stylist say that to me in my life. Not sure if it was a ploy to sell me products, but it was super rude! Plus she clearly did not know what she was doing when she tried to style it at the end. She couldn’t get my hair to curl the way she wanted and seemed confused, like she’d never worked with fine hair before. I went home and restyled it, since it looked like I’d cut my hair with blunt scissors. Hopefully this haircut grows out a bit before my sister’s bridal shower in a couple weeks! So yeah, I’ll be looking for a new hair salon. I’m not going to pay $70 to be ignored and told I’m balding!

Twice now we have run into issues with them running over late. Last time they still saw my daughter for highlights though. Mine was cancelled 30 minutes prior to the appt. They said I could go in on monday but i work full time during the week and only have weekends. They seem friendly enough here but the scheduling needs work...

I was running a little late for my appointment with Shane one of their stylists, came in and it was no sweat, was greeted by a friendly staff, and had a fantastic experience. Shane even stayed past closing to make sure my hair was done just right. This was my first experience at Regis and i would gladly come again, and recommend others do the same.
