The only time I have ever been in great clips was when my husband needed to have his head shaved due to chemo. That was 5 years ago the woman who took care of him was very friendly and had me stand beside him with a zip lock bag to put his hair in. To this day I do not know where he put the bag. And in case you wonder why I don't ask him where it is he passed away a short time later.

Great staff. Got my hair cut yesterday. I was transitioning for 5-6 months and they cut off all the permed part, so ya girl is fully natural now. Stylist told me what to do to my hair in order to enhance my curls. The area was clean, there wasn’t hair everywhere.

I go and see Jeanette. She always does a SPECTACULAR job on my hair. She doesn’t just cut away. She cuts a little bit then asks questions about how to proceed so my cut always looks great. She has helped me manage my growing out pixie cut. I highly recommend her

One star is one too many. I went on Sunday because my son started school the next day on Monday. When we got there there was no one waiting for a haircut. There was a black barber sitting in his chair at his station who wasn't doing anything. Mind you... he instantly attended to us and took my son to his chair. However, when he was about to start the haircut I noticed that his clippers were dirty with someone else's hair. This is against the law. I politely asked him if he could clean and disinfect his clippers. This seemed to rub him the wrong way... when he cleaned them he sprayed them and was just about to put them back on my son's head when again, politely, I asked him if he could wait the 10 minutes. He tried to tell me it didn't take 10 minutes to disinfect and I asked him for the bottle of disinfectant spray he used and read to him exactly where it said that it takes 10 minutes to disinfect. Then he just flat out told me that he could not wait 10 minutes because he was being timed. Well... first off there was no one waiting so I don't see why he couldn't just take himself off the timer and wait the 10 minutes. BUT what I should have told him is that AS SOON AS YOU"RE DONE WITH A CLIENT you're supposed to sanitize your equipment. That's the first thing they teach you in barber school and cosmetology school. Literally. When I got there he was lounging in his chair not doing anything waiting for clients... that whole time his clippers could have been sanitized if he was properly following protocol and had done it as soon as he finished the other client. It's gross using dirty clippers from other people's heads. Especially on kids. Why does this irk me so much? Because I personally know people who have gotten infections on the back of their necks from dirty clippers that lazy barbers like himself refuse to clean. Either to save money by not using the spray or because they are just too lazy. Regardless, it was unprofessional and he made it worse by refusing to do it once I asked him to. I told him if he wasn't going to clean then I'd have to go somewhere else and he basically said he didn't care. So I took my 7 year old, drove all the way to North Dallas where i had left MY CLIPPERS since I am a cosmetologist and drove all the way back home to cut my kids hair. Yes, I cut hair for a living too so I know the rules and if I called them in they could probably get fined for that. Again, It's against the law. But whatever. To each their own. If you want to get your hair cut with dirty clippers, go there!
