If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. So, about two months ago, I had scheduled an appt with the owner of Studio 410, MIRIAM ORTEGA. Miriam stated that my hair would be anywhere between 200-400 depending on length, texture, and what I wanted to be done. So I went in for my appointment, she said my hair wasn't that bad, I had some split ends but not much, and I couldn't go too light which was understandable considering the fact I had dark hair. So I agreed that maybe an inch or two had to be cut off and that I wasn't going to be able to go too light. I was left in that chair with bleach in my hair for 3 hours. And eventually, I would occasionally cough to catch her attention so that she could MAYBE get off her phone and remember she had someone waiting for her. After she washes shes like "Wow, just noticed how damaged your hair is" and I'm thinking, but it wasn't when I first walked in? So she finishes my VERY EXPENSIVE hair and I'm like okay well it wasn't what I wanted but it isn't horrible, just a lot shorter than what I was told. I go home and days later I wash my hair, then at that point, all the oils and hairspray she had put in my hair was out, and my hair was completely FRIED. If I even touched my hair I could hear how crusty it was. Then I read all the HORRIBLE reviews she had and I finally realized: SHE CUT OFF ALL OF MY HAIR BECAUSE SHE KNEWWWW SHE COMPLETELY RUINED IT. Weeks later I go to another hair salon (with someone I trusted but couldn't go to before because she was booked) that way we could talk about any treatments I could do to fix my hair. First, she'd have to remove all the color from my hair because it was put on horribly, she'd have to cut it because it was cut unevenly, and then I'd have to start a treatment along with medication so my hair wouldn't fall off due to the damage. While I was there, one of the ladies who worked there stated "I worked under Miriam for 9 years, she cannot do hair, she does terrible work, and I wouldn't let that b*tch touch my hair with a 10 foot pole" I went back to Miriam to attempt to get back AT LEAST what it is costing me to get my hair fixed because of the terrible work she did. She then went off on my mother and I and stated "IF you don't like your hair that's your problem, but I'm not gonna fix it nor give you your money back" Anyways, I hope Miriam changes her ways because she does a HORRIBLE job and is very rude, and I also hope this helps people see to NEVER go to studio 410, especially with the owner MIRIAM ORTEGA.

PLEASE READ AND PLEASE BE AWARE MAKE SURE SHE TELLS YOU HOW MUCH SHE IS GOING TO CHARGE BEFORE SHE STARTS WORKING ON YOUR HAIR. BTW HER WORK IS NOT $500 WORTH‼️‼️Unfortunately enough for me I’m reading this reviews one day too late! Beating myself over the fact that I did not take time to look on here before booking or even showing for my appointment! If I would have read this before hand I would have never had her do my hair, (I would have happily let her keep my $50 deposit)I had been following her on IG for literally a few years now! So obviously all the work she post looks amazing, so I decided I wanted to go back to blonde! When I booked with her (Miriam) she asked for me to send her a picture of my hair (I have a long bob, Virgin hair, natural hair color it’s like a chocolate brown. Not dark st all) after sending her the picture of my hair I asked how much she thought it would be for doing my hair nosed on the picture I had sent her and she gave me a price range of 295-495+ Depending on length, texture, and color correction. So i figured,(my mistake) ok so I have short hair, no color correction, my hair it’s not course at all and it’s a very light tone so there is no way it’s going to on the top end of her price range! Boy was I wrong!!! She bleached my hair twice (not sure why, Maybe just so she could justify the her fees because that was the only thing she could come up with when I asked why so much) so it fried my hair keep in mind I had virgen hair and my natural hair color was very light ( even she told me herself I had a very light color) I was supposed to be getting a blonde balayage and I specifically told her I did not want silver I just wanted as blonde as possible. My hair is so patchy and uneven it is very silver and in the back of my head I have bleach marks, not blended at all. I’ve had blonde before with longer hair, color was blonde perfectly blended all over AMAZING job and I paid 200$ less than what I paid Miriam. The poor job she did in my hair is not worth the 500$ I paid!!! I would never recommend her and I would have never gone to her if I would’ve know that’s how much she was going to charge me!!! I did msg her the day after (today) to let her know I was not happy with my her she argued that she did what asked her to ( she didn’t ) and that there was no damaged on my hair when I left her salon! Like if I had damaged after myself! She offered to fix it but after the way she reacted to my comments I do not feel comfortable going back to her. I also don’t think that she can fix what I don’t like about now I’ll just have to wait so I can go back to the person who did my hair before so they can fix it and obviously will have to spend more money to do that! I asked Miriam if I could get at least part of my money back so I get my hair fix and she they have a very strict no refund policy! Well with many unhappy customers I can clearly see why! PLEASE DONT EVER GO HERE!
