Just had a wonderful experience at Back Street Salon! The owner (Pam) colored and cut my hair to my very exact specifications. I have been to 3 different salons trying to find someone who could cut it the same way my stylist cut it before she moved away last year. Thank you Pam, you nailed it!

I love this salon. All of the stylists are very respectful and I've never heard an unkind word spoken. Pam Richards (the owner) created a "Steel Magnolias" type ambiance and immediately you feel you are amongst friends/family and just a joy to have some "me" time after a busy day!

This morning I had taken my wife and daughter to this establishment to prepare for my wife's 49th birthday. Within minutes of entering the salon, me & my wife had both felt extremely uncomfortable while entering the environment. The level of hostility used by employees was shocking to say the least. They were using nasty words while gossiping about THEIR customers! The worst part was that they used horrible language around our 12 year old daughter! The trashy behavior alone wasn't enough to rate them 1-star. It was what the OWNER yelled at group of men outside that made me leave this establishment FOREVER. The lady in charge repeatedly YELLED THE "N WORD" blatantly infront of my African American wife and daughter! After she realized who she said it infront of, she apologized quickly and profusely while offering discounts.. But after seeing her true nasty spirits we decided it was time to leave and never return!
