Sanke salon is amazing. The entire salon stylists and staff are all very kind and make you feel very welcome. I love my stylist Trish. She is amazing. She works wonders on my color and hair cuts. Thank you , Trish for the amazing hair cut today and color retouch. I always enjoy our chats !!!!

I wanted to go lighter and freshen up my hair for the summer. I showed pictures of what I wanted to Brianna and she talked me through it and let me know what the expectations were since I had 2+ years of dark red/brown dye on my hair. I love the results!! She did a hand painted bayalage and it turned out beautifully! She was so patient and sweet and made the whole process fun. Everyone at the salon seems to work together and make a great team. The prices are very reasonable too. I'm happy with my experience and recommend them!!

My overall experience was just okay. I am new to the Houston area and figured I would go to a Kerastase salon since that is the brand my old salon used. Sanke was a welcoming and clean place, but they use 3 different brands...Kerastase, Redken, and some other brand I can’t remember. It seemed a bit unorganized. They are fairly new, so I think they are just working out the kinks of being a new business. My reasoning for 3 stars, though, is that my hair cut is sorta wonky. The back is shorter than the front, and the front isn’t even on both sides of my face. Only slightly, though. Fortunately it’s not overly noticeable, but I can definitely tell. I’ll give it a good 3 months and get a trim at a new salon. I do want to note that when I was looking at the salon Instagram, it looks like they are really good with coloring, hilighting, balayage, etc.

A wonderful, professional, relaxing, and clean salon. Lisa McSwain is a master at hair color and her haircuts rival the skill of any upscale salon in any major downtown city, and yet we are so lucky to have her in our own backyard in the burbs. I have never left her chair feeling less than fabulous. She has also surrounded herself with other stylists who share her artistic passion as they continually attend and host workshops to continue learning on the latest and greatest techniques.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and another try before I give a true rating...... Went the first time this week because of the great reviews to get my short hair cut back down to a shorter pixie, even had a picture. First let me say I'm pretty easy going when it comes to my hair bc after all it grows back but wow, just wow, my left side of my head is cut differently and much shorter than my right side, she even missed the "side burn" hair on my right side - I cut it myself when I got home and realized it. Excluding the fact that it's significantly shorter than the photo which I dont mind so much because I've had it this short before but my issue is it is literally nothing like what I asked and when I show people the photo I showed her they are shocked at the difference. I've even had several people say hopefully I didn't pay. Well I did pay and I didn't realize just how bad it was until I got home and tried to style it. It's not like I had long hair and went to a pixie, I already had a pixie just with much longer bangs, all she had to do was cut it shorter and leave the same "pattern". Given they are closer than the previous place I went to I'll give another stylist another try and maybe they'll do better. After all not everyone can do pixies well, and even though she told me she could, she can't and needs more practice on a test head.
