I was so happy with the results of my first ever dye job. Arlene gave me a beautiful brunette balayage and I was so impressed with her skill level. You could tell that she really takes pride in her work. She had a very calm and easygoing personality so even though it took several hours for the whole job to be finished, it didn’t feel as long with the conversation flowing. Can’t wait to try something new on my next visit!

This is literally the BEST salon I’ve ever been to. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Go to this place. ❤️

If i could leave 0 stars I would, I went in for a consultation with Arlene in November 2018, my hair was already dyed jet black and I wanted to know if there was any way I could go from such a dark color to a cool blonde. I know huge difference and I’ve been told that you should never even try that because it’s damaging to the hair, but the only reason I consulted and decided on going through with it is because she kept telling me about a new upcoming product she is using from Brazil. That it wouldn’t damage my hair one bit and that she’s done it to so many people, I was shown pictures and honestly her work was beautiful and it was exactly what I wanted. I went in on I believe a Friday in November and it was an all day process, I went from jet black to orange to that beautiful gorgeous cool blonde, I was so stunned and amazed on how she did it. My hair length was probably a little passed or around the breast area and my natural hair is very very curly. Those first couple days my hair felt fine, I was using the shampoo and conditioner she requested I used (I wash every other day or 2 days) but after maybe the 5th day I noticed my hair started feeling so course and rough. When I tried styling it with the blow dryer it appeared SO damaged. To make matters worse a few days later my hair just starts breaking off, I was devastated. We all know for us women our hair is our comfort zone. Days went by and my hair kept falling out, my hair ended up being right above my shoulders from the fall out and breakage, and all of it was just uneven since the hair broke different sizes. Many days of crying guys! For my curls they were non existent. When I went in to do this my hair was not in any kind of bad condition, maybe a few split ends here and there but that’s it. My hair is still short and barely growing, I had to go and get it cut even shorter since the breakage left it all uneven. Curls are barely coming back but maybe just in the baby hair section, it’s still pretty damaged and it’s just upsetting. I’m not sure if she knew this would happen but my hair was not damaged, I was promised it wouldn’t damage it and then the result was just horrible. I’m a couple months late with the review but only because i kinda just fell into a small little depression because i loved my hair so much. Not bashing this salon because I believe in mom and pop salons and people making a name for themselves and working hard, but to do it the right way.
