Walked in today to purchase a Mother’s Day gift. I asked if they had any specials. Was told YES. When I looked further there was ZERO discount in price. Asked the receptionist and she said,” no we don’t offer specials we just bundle services together.” I then asked for the owner or manager and was told there was not a single SUPERVISOR working. Will never walk thru those doors again. 5-12-18 @1530

Love this place. Violet is the best and she's kind of a big deal.

After my long time friend and hair stylist passed away I began seeing Christy Rodriguez. She truly does know color and is quite friendly. I stopped in without an appointment a couple of weeks ago, hoping Christy would be available, but she wasn't there. Lin encouraged me to try a new employee, Julie, who, she explained, has 30 years experience. I felt I was as clear as I could be about needing partial highlights (roots only) throughout my hair so it blends, even underneath for when I wear my hair up. I explained that I wanted to tone down the blond on the ends with a darker shade, and she showed me several hair samples so I could pick the color I wanted. Julie put highlights around my face and crown (no lower) and left it on for 10 minutes. I've never (in 25 years) had highlights that only took 10 minutes, but she explained that she used a different brand of color. She put toner, not color, through the ends of my hair and rinsed. After checking it she said she needed to put more toner on my ends. She began drying my hair and said that the color didn't 'take' very well on my roots and we'd need to leave it on for 20 minutes next time. She said she would trim my hair for no charge as compensation. So, with partially dry hair she trimmed for several minutes and then charged $100 for the color. It was late, so I couldn't see well in Murphy's lights, but when I got home I could see that the color did not 'take' at all on my roots, and my ends, from the toner, were the color of charcoal. Needless to say, I'm super disappointed.
