my stylist is great. she can do all types of weaves, extensions, and perms . she's a sweet heart. Keisha is her name.

When I first visited House Of Glam I had a great experience the owner was very professional and welcoming. I was looking for a salon to go to for a good quality sew in and also to have my natural hair treated. My very first experience was with shay she appeared to be very knowledgeable and she was a new stylist at this location so I decided to have her do my hair. It came out great so i returned for a sew in Apr a month later. My second experience with Shay was absolutely horrible I came in for the same service this time I had longer hair (30 inch Bundles) which I asked to keep the length I wanted it to be cut into layers she cut my layers so short I wasted money purchasing longer hair just to be cut so short I also asked for her to style it which is a part of the service and her response was " I have to go , my ride is here" which is very unprofessional you do not tell a client that. Mind you I wasn't accommodated whatsoever for this I paid full price for a half done service and walked away with short hair. Despite that experience I returned hoping for a better experience with a different stylist so when i returned I saw another stylist which her name is Gigi She specializes in natural hair so I came in for a shampoo and a deep condition treatment she recommended a few products to help my hair grow and I was on my way. I told her I will see her in the near future and just recently reached out to her inquiring about color this time when she answered the phone she seemed as though I was a burden. Instead of being helpful to a returning customer she made it seem as though I was bothering she first told me to call her back at 11am which I did and received no answer I tried calling her back multiple times and texting her and she never replied finally very irritated I sent her a text expressing how disappointed I was regarding the lack of customer service I've been given with the first stylist I went too now Gigi. I've reached out to Gigi on multiple occasions inquiring about services and she never got back to me. With Gigi's knowledge in hair care I decided to go to her for my future services and her attitude and lack of professionalism is what will keep me from returning. After I sent her a text expressing my concerns and disappointment she sent me a text calling me ghetto and left a very rude and belligerent voicemail which is EXTREMELY unprofessional especially since I was nothing but respectful I decided to call her back and she started yelling and ended with her hanging up in my face. I am writing this review so that the owner can be made aware of the stylist's she has working in her establishment. I believe this hair salon has great potential however with the two very unprofessional stylist I will not be returning.

Love Lakisha Gamble!! Not every one can care for natural hair and I've had stylists on every side of town but now that I've found house of glam , I am satisfied. I was sick for a year and had many medications tried in a two year span . She saved my hair as well as my self esteem Her shop is like walking into your best friend's living room , or sitting at your mother's kitchen table or swinging on your grandmother's back porch!
