I went to Virtuous Hair Salon (9721 W Broadway St #107, Pearland, TX 77584) to bleach my dyed, dark auburn hair to a platinum blonde. I thought it would take more than one sitting, knowing my hair was dark and red and I wanted platinum blonde, but she reassured me that my hair would be okay and that I could do it all right now and it'd be fine. At the end when she was blowdrying it, she started tearing through it and kept saying it was the most tangly hair she's ever delt with. I then turned around and saw CHUNKS, LITERAL HANDFULS OF MY PRECIOUS HAIR, on the floor. I stood up and went to the mirror and saw my hair is beyond repair, I am not exaggerating when I say this. My hair has chunks missing from it and is gummy, stringy, and splitting. It's slimy when it's wet and is comparable to spaghetti. It snaps even when TOUCHING it. Part of my hair is down to the small of my back (the length it used to be) and the other part is broken all the way up to my shoulder. And when I say "part" I mean literally over a handful of my hair is broken to my shoulder. I know I have to cut it, but is there anything I can do so that my hair isn t literally comparable to spaghetti? Please help. I've done so much research and no one seems to understand what "severely damaged hair" is.
