I am baffled by the lack of consideration skills and customer service from management (Jasmine) They make you feel like you committed a crime when trying to reschedule an appointment. I was questioned like an Interrogation; where are you now? Why canâ€™t you make it, what time can you make it by? And they want you to answer immediately. They fail to provide accurate and transparent information of why they ask your for your CC number when booking an appt. I was attempting to let them know I would be calling back to provide them a more accurate time that I am able to make it, given I was far away from the salon, and was told I was â€œmaking excuses and being disrespectfulâ€ wow. Then the manager proceeds to withdraw 40 dollars with out my verbal or written consent which I filed a report on already. It appears as this salon is that thirsty for money. I will never let them touch my hair or steal from me again.

I have natural type 4 hair. I went in for a wash, trim, and style. My hair came out really nice and they didn't take too much off in trim. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is because my hair was shampooed 3 times and they only conditioned my hair for less than a minute. The stylist put conditioner on and rinsed it right away! That's always a no-no for black hair and it was a black stylist too. My service was $90.00 and I would have had to pay an extra 30+ to get it deep conditioned which I was not about to do. I would recommend pre pooing before going in, if you don't have the extra money to spend on conditioning

Best Salon in San Antonio. The service is fantastic and am happy every time I walk in and walk out. The shop is lovely, decorated well, comfortable, clean and professional. The staff is superb, great stylists and front desk staff. I am always treated with respect for me and my time. No waiting around Harmoni.

I have very curly hair and have always had a great experience at Harmoni Salon. I've gotten my hair trimmed, shaped and, once, cut super short all with great results. In my experience it's difficult to find hair stylists that cut curly well, let alone have more than one curly haired customer! This is definitely the place to go in San Antonio if you have curly hair. On another note, they use all natural hair products that smell amazing. An added bonus!

Edit review: added a star for business acumen. I just received a follow up phone call from the salon in response to my review. I was assured that their services are not normally on par with my experience and was offered a refund. I did not accept the refund as I am 100% about paying for services rendered. I informed them that the follow up phone call speaks volumes about the importance they put on their service reputation. Not too much of a fan of being "tracked down" as I prefer my information to remain private but it was used in a professional manner and again it shows their dedication to customer service. (Original post below) Was not pleased overall with the service. This was my first real appointment after receiving a consultation a month ago. I booked a hair conditioning masque and arrived on time. As I walked in I saw another lady just getting settled in the chair with the stylist that was set for me. She was receiving highlights which is a time consuming process. Mind you I fought traffic to get home then got back into traffic to make this appointment as it's impossible to get an appt here. I was kept waiting 15-20 min and informed the receptionist. The stylst then came to the front and told me to meet her at the bowl. This is my first appt there; I have no idea of the layout of the shop or the lingo they use. When it came to the wash it felt extremely rushed as she was jumping between both myself and the other customer in addition to being extremely rough. I am not tender headed by any means and I do understand a vigorous scrub during a hair wash in session however it felt aggressive. For the masque, when I booked it weeks ago i was not informed that the preferred method for it would be air dry. I walked out of the shop with my hair still dripping water down my neck and was handed a towel on my way out. Thank goodness I had nothing planned post the appointment. Two stars because the product currently on their shelf actually feels nice in my hair. I will not be returning for any of their services though.
