Urban Dental

I had a state of the art experience. Rebecca seemed more like an angel than a worker. She was so sweet, kind, and cheerful. I recommend this place to my family and friends.

Doctor moon and his staff are the best!! My husband and I are both patients and have received top notch care from Urban Dental for many years. I've recommended them to all my friends!

I have been using Urban dental for several years. Dr. Moon and his entire staff are great. I would not go to any other dentist.

So if you are struggling to find a great dentist in the Midtown area, consider your search to be over. Dr. Moon and his staff are truly the best. The receptionists are SO friendly, and thorough. They are also very helpful with explaining to you what your insurance covers and why something may cost more, etc. If you call and they tell you he's booked out for checkups/cleanings for like 4 months, do NOT be alarmed. Thy get cancellations all the time and they may call you on a Tuesday and say "hey someone canceled for tomorrow. Want this spot?" So if you take a look at my past reviews for other dentists, you might see the following words: horrible, crying, painful, agreeing to things under false pretenses, scam, yadda yadda yadda. In short, I've had a lot of nightmare experiences with dentists that have left me traumatized and anxious. Dr. Moon did two fillings for me yesterday and they were absolutely pain free. He's also a super funny guy. Not like, knock-knock-who's-there funny but mostly just clever and witty. Can I also say how nice it is to NOT have unnecessary products pushed on you? Floss made me buy this stupid expensive mouthwash and Dr. Moon said that's only prescribed to people with straight up intense gum disease. Also I grind my teeth and told him I use a commercial off the shelf guard that works fine. He took a look at it and its placement on my teeth and said "well, whatever works. I recommend the custom one, but this would be fine for now." Unlike most dentists that sing a tune more like "BUY THE CUSTOM BITEGUARD OR ELSE!!!" In summary, I'm glad I found Dr. Moon and his great staff at Urban Dental. The other reviews are no joke-- this place is legit, and is no-frills. It's a family owned business. Dr. Moons wife was my hygienist and she was awesome! I've walked out of cleanings before crying with bloody gums and hating my life, but leaving Dr. Moon's, even with a numb mouth, is like walking on sunshine.

I have been a patient of Dr.Moon for many years. I have referred friends, family, colleagues and anyone that I over hear that is looking for a dentist. His office is very modern but not cold. The entire staff is always friendly and helpful. As long as he is in practice in Houston, he will continue to be my dentist!
