I have to say he is the best dentist with the best staff. I have always been nervous going to the dentist, he made me so comfortable. His staff is friendly. He's very informative.

I've worked with Dr. Wolfe for over 3 years. He is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have had the privilege of working beside. He is a conservative doctor that is not out to break your wallet. Dr. Wolfe is funny, efficient and is excellent at communicating needed treatment to his patients. We have an extremely cohesive team that has one goal....patient care. Matter of a fact, Dr. Wolfe is still treating his very first patient. Many of our patients have been with us for years and come from all over the Brazos Valley. We also serve a large population of Texas A&M employees and students. The office is about a 1/2 mile from the university down Texas across from Old Navy/Target shopping center. After being in the dental field for 20 years, I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Grant Wolfe as your dentist.

I have medical insurance that does not cover dental. I called this dentists office and explained the excruciating pain, swelling and limited financial funds that I was suffering from. I also informed them that I have an infected tooth that would need extraction (since I cannot afford fixing the dang thing). When I asked for extraction rates, they said "it depends on the ease of the procedure, anesthetic...etc". They scheduled me within the hour on an emergency basis. I went to my appointment, waited for over an hour and then he came in (Wolfe). Took an x-ray of the tooth to tell me "you have two options, root canal and crown, or extraction." I said, "I already explained my financial situation, and would like to go with the extraction please." Dentist then mentions that he has to refer me to an oral surgeon to extract the tooth. WHAT! Why did they not mention that they do not extract teeth when I specifically asked for that procedure? They gave me a prescription for anti-biotic and pain medications (things I could have gotten from my family doctor and my insurance would have covered). They charged me over $70 for less than 10 minutes of Wolfe's time, almost half of my funds, and sent me home with an appointment for the next day with a person who can really extract teeth. Now I have to pay yet for another dentist visit, and for the extraction procedure. It would have been much easier if I did it all in one stop and less expensive for sure. The reason I'm irritated is because several dentists I called that same day and told the same story, mentioned from the onset that they do not do extractions which prompted me to thank them and continue to look for a qualified person who can do it. DENTIST (doctor wanna be) Wolfe office mislead me into believing that they would extract my tooth if need be, when they could not, just so they can get a piece of what little money I had. Heartless? No regard none whatsoever for Dentists' Pledge or Oath (if they have one)? YOU BET!
