This used to be the best place to find a dr in Texarkana, simply because it was staffed with so many of them. Fortunately Texarkana has grown rapidly over the years. There is a reason this place has merely a 3 Star rating. A pediatrician there treated my family like complete trash. I’m not sure if it was my ethnicity that offended her, or my husband’s goatee, how young we were when we took our first born daughter there (19 and 20). Instead of receiving medical attention, she single handedly had our newborn infant banned from the entire office, after threatening to call cps on us because I didn’t want to repeatedly take my premature daughter in there and expose her to other sick children if it wasn’t absolutely necessary. And she did call cps on us, by the way. They sent two butch, dictatorial women to our home to investigate us. One of them fell short on her duties, wasn’t keeping tabs on our case and tried to somehow blame me for it. She called me, harassed me and very rudely mocked me. She was very condescending and threatening herself, without ever even getting to know us or our situation. She visited once, then when I called to speak to her supervisor and request an alternate, more professional representative, I was told I’d get a call back. A week or so later I received a letter informing us that they were closing our case. It was a complete joke and caused a lot of unneeded stress, fear and frustration for our brand new family. All thanks to the bigot pediatrician at Collom and Carney. I have no reason to leave a better review for this place. Wish I did.

No one answers the phone! I had a infection in a pin, very painful, and my doctor there told me to suck it up! To be fair, I went to the Dr. because I was having pain, but because he could not see it, he thought I was just being a baby. The next day it was red and stuff oozing out and I had a fever. So they finally got me some antibodics. I cannot take codeine or hydrocodone. I do not fabricate pain and I am not a drug seeker. All I ask is something to help me rest while I am in pain. Doctors need to remember, you are not treating patients out of the kindness of your heart. You are being paid by that patient. Please act like you working for the patient that is paying your salary.
