I think Mill Springs is pretty great. Sure it went downhill for a while because of the headmaster, but I think things are finally getting back on track now. I hate seeing all of these nasty reviews about our school. I’m tired of people talking bad about this school, and I think they need to understand that while some schools may be better than our school, our school is definitely not the worst. I’m sure there are worse schools out there. Mill Springs is a good school, and I am in 11th grade right now and I’m planning on graduating from this school. I’ve been here since 5th grade. I would recommend this school to everyone.

I am a former students that was at MSA from 9th to 10th from 2022-2023 to 2023-2024. I can tell you right now that This school is not good and that's a fact. They let a girl come back that said some very inappropriate comments to me. They were not concerned for my safety and others. They do not know how to discipline students correctly. The levels system and putting students on level S does not help them at all. They never learn and continue to behave badly. The Admins and the teachers are too brainless to understand. DO BETTER Ms T and Mrs Elke.

See one thing did you got understand is that Mill Springs was much different 10/11 years ago at this goddamn school and will never be the same like it was 10. Years ago and that’s OK. The mistake that you had was believing that this was a normal school, and they did a really good job of promoting it like that by using the past to promote the future

Mill Springs Academy is the learning environment that is missing from the rest of metro Atlanta. The teachers understand the kids so well. Activities during, and outside, of the school are conducted in a way that is inclusive of all types of learners, social skills, and abilities. Additionally, the school sets students up to be independent and successful later in life—providing peer feedback with courteous and controlled structure, as well as training them how to appropriately resolve conflict when needed. They encourage independence, and meet kids where they are so that they can receive the personal academic help they need. Can’t say enough wonderful things about our school! Very happy kids.

It's so sad to read recent reviews of MSA. My child attended this school many years ago from 6th -12th grades, and he loved it. It was so much better than local public or religious schools, and he excelled and made lifelong friends. Without MSA he would never have learned how to deal with dyslexia and ADHD without meds , and he would never have attended college. Please faculty, learn from these review and go back to the way you taught and treated students..

My son attends Mill Springs Academy for 6th grade and it’s been such a wonderful experience. Just the right mixture of education and social development. I’m so proud of him and we are so thankful for the teachers and staff at Mill Springs. Coming from public education with an IEP but also in Gifted into this much calmer, smaller, tailored environment has brought a lot of peace to us all. He is able to pursue his interests. They know him, they know his goals and they guide him to meet and exceed his goals. He's happy. And for middle school, that’s huge.
