When we had our son in 2011, we toured multiple schools in Henry County. Primrose was the first school we had ever visited and from the beginning, it became the standard by which we judged subsequent tours of other schools. It is very clean, organized, and professional. Children were happy and engaged with their teachers. We ultimately made the decision to enroll our son at Primrose. He has attended the school since he was 10-weeks old, and is currently in the Preschool 1 (3 Year old) room. We moved from Henry County to Decatur in Sep 2013. We attempted to enroll our son in a school closer to our home, but were either wait-listed or the schools did not meet our standard. We weren’t worried though because we knew we could continue to keep him at an excellent school while we waited. In Aug 2014, we received a spot at one of our wait-listed schools in Decatur. After touring again, and comparing against Primrose, we declined the spot in favor of Primrose. We would rather drive 40-Min to Primrose to ensure our son has a supported educational base in a caring, nurturing environment. If we could pick up Primrose at Eagle’s Landing and relocate it to our neighborhood, it would be a no-brainer where we’d enroll our son. Recently we have found a school closer to home and will be leaving Primrose at the end of this week, but it was one of the hardest decisions we have made as parents. We weighed all the pros and cons of keeping him enrolled at Primrose through Pre-K. For anyone in Henry County looking for a school, our experience with the school has been really great. We will miss the teachers, administration, and the fun activities throughout the year. Our son has learned so much and we know Primrose’s foundation will aide him in his future education.
