I've been training here for almost 8ish years & have always had a great experience. It's a small dojo & I've gotten to learn so much here. It's a little intimidating at first but everyone is super friendly & it's such an open & respectful environment! Think you're "too old" or "not in good enough shape" to practice martial arts? Lies! Come have fun, take a few classes, you'll love it!

I cannot say enough about how great Tuyet Tan and Master Allyson have been for my son. He began as a somewhat reluctant sixth grader more than 2 years ago and counts on it as part of the fabric of his life. His experience has given him strength, confidence, and a deeper awareness of himself and what he can do. I am so grateful for the teaching, the support of the community there, and for the wonderful learning environment Master Allyson and the other teachers have created and continue to build upon.

I love Tuyet Tan! It's just the right combination of "martial" and "art". Good workouts and lots of personal attention from the instructors, but they don't push people through too fast: you know when you get a black belt from Tuyet Tan that it really means something.

I've been going to this dojo for over 3 years now and it is the best martial arts school I've been to. The instructors are patient and thorough. They make sure you know what you need to know before advancing you to the next rank. My classmates are also very nice and easy to get along with. I love it there.

Tuyet Tan was my first martial arts school. I was a student there for over 10 years and I can not say enough good things about it. I have been to several other martial arts schools since then, and although a few of them were very good, none have compared. Tuyet Tan is the standard that I measure all other dojos by. The teachers are amazing. They teach to each students level and make sure that they understand how and why to do each technique that they learn. They also make it fun to learn! Master Allyson and every other teacher I have had the good fortune to learn from there really care about their students. The combination of excellent instruction in a safe caring environment made learning Cuong Nhu at Tuyet Tan one of the best experiences I have ever had.
