Shotokan Karate of America (SKA) is an outstanding organization and the best way to learn a traditional martial art. As a non-profit karate group you can be sure that you are being trained in an authentic manner and in an authentic style. I highly recommend SKA for anyone looking for karate training.

SKA is an excellent organization. The karate teachings of Ohshima Sensei inspire and motivate one to be a "better human being." I've practiced SKA karate for almost 10 years now and I'm still learning. This has become part of my life. This organization changed the way I think and act. Give it a try, and stay awhile until you can find something about yourself.

Started with this Shotokan organization in July of 1991. Our seniors are the real deal. My whole life is a better place because of my practice. Highly recommended for a real martial arts experience.

Truly an outstanding organization with deep roots in traditional Shotokan Karate. The non-profit nature shows how dedicated the seniors are in passing on the teachings. Besides the fitness factor, SKA has become a part of my life on so many levels!

Shotokan Karate of America is a rare organization that strives to truly help people create the best versions of themselves through traditional martial arts practice.
