Love Master Chewning and the Tiny Tigers! This class is a great balance of fun and discipline. Master Chewning is very skilled at instruction and creating a motivating learning environment.

I highly recommend Arrow Martial Arts and Fitness. My 2 children, ages 7 and 10, are students and they love the program. Master Chewning is an excellent instructor and passionate about teaching the art. This shows in his ability to connect with and motivate the students (both young and old). Beyond martial arts, my children get so much out of their classes. Exercise is obvious, but they are more confident, have a better understanding of respect not only for themselves but others and how to deal with potential bullies. As a parent, having this positive reinforcement coming from another trusted source is priceless. Arrow also offers adult classes, one of which, I participate-Krav Maga. This class is awesome and every adult should try at least 1 class. Everything you learn is functional and can be applied immediately. I feel more confident and aware of my surroundings as a result of the class.

My 7-year-old daughter absolutely loves her classes at Arrow. She'd go every day if I'd let her! Master Chewning has a great rapport with the kids, and he emphasizes so much more than learning tae kwon do--it's focus and respect and character building and bullying prevention. He individualizes the classes and meets each kid at his or her ability level while encouraging them to reach further. The kids get a workout, they learn, and they enjoy every second.

Master Chewning has classes not just for kids but for adults as well. I was looking for a local school which taught Krav Maga to help me get into better shape. Once my daughter was old enough, I enrolled her in Tiny Tigers. Everyone at the school is excellent with the kids, and the Tigers program taught by Master Chewning encompasses not just martial arts, but great life skills such as confidence, self-esteem, bully prevention. All in a program which keeps kids engaged both inside and outside of class. I personally have found the Krav program has not only help to get me into great shape, but also given me confidence in self defense and better focus in my life overall. Both programs have given me a great bonding experience with my daughter as well. I highly recommended looking into his programs no matter your age.

I'm very happy I enrolled my son at Arrow Martial Arts and Fitness to help develop his self-esteem and confidence in his physical abilities. After bringing my son to an introductory one on one class with Master Chewning, I felt happy and relieved that my son would learn Tae Kwon Do in a positive and constructive environment and reap the emotional and physical benefits of practicing a martial art. But Master Chewning teaches so much more than Tae Kwon Do. He teaches children (and parents) how to cope with bullies. He teaches children how to develop their self-esteem and to be proud of their individuality. He teaches children to respect their elders and to respect the martial arts practice of Tae Kwon Do. In short, I'm very happy I found Arrow Martial Arts and can't recommend Master Chewning highly enough.
