I've had the pleasure of knowing and training with Rick Robinson Sensei for a number of years. He is a fantastic instructor with a wealth of experience and he invests heavily in his students. Another huge plus is the well-rounded program of many disciplines taught by top instructors. It's hard to find another place that offers great instruction all under one roof.

I've been training at River of Life for many years. Great dojo and great training. Whether martial arts is new to you or whether you have experience it's a very good place start or continue your martial arts development.

We felt their program was not supervised properly and our son was hurt many times by older kids. They also obligate you to a yearly contract and make it very difficult for you to cancel should you leave program because of safety issues. Pretty ridiculous and desperate of them financially.

Great dojo, great people! I take both Aikido and Iaido. Your classmates will be very helpful, and not creepy! I've heard some horror stories about other martial arts places regarding how they treat women. Ladies, you'll be safe here. I've only been here for a couple months but I've really enjoyed it thus far. Watch a few classes (for free) before deciding what you like. Ask anyone for help and they will happily oblige.

It is truly a great place to learn aikido. Technique and principle are nicely blend to make effective learning. A little bit pricey perhaps, but it is well worthy.
