Beware of this place. I went in for a trial class for two children and the first thing the instructor did was show me a 10 min video in the office. When I asked to know the price of the taekwondo lessons he said he would tell me after the trial class. After the class was over, he took me back to the office to explain all the programs and variations and a complicated price system. Bottom line was, that if I wanted to enroll my two children, I would have to sign up for a 3-year contract (no cancellation of the contract was possible) and that it would cost around $300/month. This did not include belt promotion costs. His selling point was that I was paying for the program and that if the kids ever wanted to take a break from taekwondo that I could come back whenever they were ready and I would not lose the money paid. However, I would still have to pay for the 3-year program. This was a red flag for me. I saw this as a bad sign that this was not the place for us. I do not think martial arts facilities need to resort to such long-term contracts. I also did not like the actual trial class, the master did not really show or do any of the drills with the kids, he had a very young student show them. So, be careful with this place. I ended up taking my kids to Central FL Karate Academy and they are amazing over there!

I would definitely not recommend this place. It could be recommendable for adults but for kids is a disaster.I never seen a place where the communication is zero with teacher/ parents.Teacher is a robot lack of charisma and emotions. The owner(Richard) does not really care about the customers , he never made an effort to keep my daughter coming to his classes . He told me if you want her out then take her.

My son has been attending Martial Arts University with Master Richards since the beginning of this year. We have been welcomed into their wholesome program which focuses on fitness, self discipline, integrity & perseverance. I have seen my little boy mature and learn to make focused movements with his body. I recently began taking the woman's fitness class and I can honestly say that it was way more intense and exciting than any other type of fitness class I've ever been in. Master Richards and his staff are seriously commited to their mission, are very professional and offer a variety of special programs, specials and events for the whole family. Thanks MAU!

Went for two weeks and I'm being charged for 8!!!! No structure. Puts beginners with all different color belts. Kid didn't know what he was doing and nobody bothered showing him the right way.

This place is the best place for the development of children and families. Most people (like the ones who write disrespectful things) are just venting because they want out of something they AGREED to. Do like all of the rest of us, pay your bill! Black Belt Parent
