I have been taking lessons at WMAA on Watson Road for several years. The instructors are friendly and do a great job of teaching ADULTS and are also great with the kids. It is really great to see how much the kids learn in such a short time (focus, confidence, discipline). The staff also have a great deal of expertise in sparring, traditional forms, and weapons techniques. A great place for kids and adults!

I'm a black belt and have been here for 4 years. I love how including and welcoming it is. They focus on respect and discipline. I love taking Teakwondo and have lots of fun and have made friends with people and become closer with the people from my school that take it too. Becoming a black belt has been a good experience since it made me work for a goal. In conclusion I think that it's a welcoming place and would 10/10 recommend for you if you want to learn self defense.

Its a learning environment built for everyone. Master Winkler and his team train everyone as individuals and not just as a group. From dexterity issues, temper tantrums or just wanting to get back in shape. I started many years ago, I loved it so much I was able to be put in a special training program, then sparred in competitions and qualified to fight at Junior Olympics. Great programs, excellent training and great teachers!

Both my kids are current students with Master Winkler and I cannot express in words how good the experience has been. My little one was just over 4 when he started and has progressed exponentially. Older one just got his black belt. Highly recommend this dojang (school) and the instructors.

My child currently attends World Martial Arts Academy on Watson Road. The dojang reinforces the same values that we teach at home while instructing it's students in the martial art of Tae Kwon Do. The instructors are the kinds of people that you want your child to be around, like aunts, uncles, cousins. They are serious and encouraging at the same time. Focused on teaching and wanting to make sure they develop a well-rounded student. It is through the instruction of the martial art that they being out the best in the student.
