We started our 4 year old daughter about 6 months ago and couldn't be happier. She is quite the princess, but has really taken to martial arts, even though she can't wear a tutu. We had taken her to another studio first, but she was too bored in class. Denice does such a great job with the kids and just knows how to communicate with them and she is learning so much more than just karate. Now I am taking fitness classes, too. So nice to get my workout in while my daughter has her class. Also super affordable.

My husband and both my kids go to Martial Arts on the Move - my son has sensory processing disorder and gross motor development issues, MAM has been so instrumental in helping him and he has done so well with the patience and guidance of the instructors. My husband is very happy with his learning and progressing as well, feels like a family not just a place to work out. HIGHLY recommend for the whole family! My little girl started at age 3 1/2 and is really loving it and doing well! Several instructors for all age levels... very knowledgeable skilled staff!

This place is great for learning basic control, fitness, and having fun. This is not a place to go if you are trying to learn to fight. It IS great for kids though and makes a great set of training wheels for them. Just know that if your kid is good and learns fast they will get borded and now moved forward. Once that happens find someplace new.

the staff seemed to be unknowledge able - they can teach. . . but only if you are 3
