Great Children's Martial Arts Instructor

Jeff Collins is a great martial arts instructor, who is very knowledgable and experienced, and is also great at instructing kids.  Sometimes the kids are frustrated, or unmotivated, or maybe have not practiced much, and he is always very patient and knows how to get through to them, often with humor.  The kids are showing a lot of progress, and have become much more coordinated over the course of training.  Thanks Jeff for providing this unique and valuable opportunity.

Great Instructor

Jeff is a great instructor. He goes the extra mile to make sure that you have the materials down through demonstration and repetition. It's been very fun learning from him so far and I'm looking forward to learning a lot more!

I have trained with Jeff Collins for over 10 years now. Even though I have gained instructor certificates from other instructors, I always come back to Jeff. Not only is Jeff a fantastic instructor, he is a teacher's teacher. Jeff has the most extensive experience teaching the Filipino martial arts of anyone in Northern Nevada. Jeff can teach to someone with absolutely no martial arts experience through artists with decades of experience. If you are considering learning the Filipino martial arts, then Jeff is your guy. Best martial arts instructor in Reno, even the state. You won't find a better one, even greats in FMA will view him as a equal.

I have been training with Jeff for over 9 years now. I keep coming back because classes are informative, fun and nobody gets hurt. Jeff has been studying, training, competing and teaching Martial Arts most of his life. Jeff is always prepared for class and does a great job focusing on his students. Arnis is not just "Stick Fighting," it is a complete system for self-defense and, more importantly, self-esteem.

I don’t think you will find a more knowledgeable instructor on Filipino martial arts in Reno, nv than Jeff Collins. Personally, I have been studying martial arts on and off for over 17 years.i can say without a doubt, I am truly grateful to have met Jeff. He is a one of a kind teacher. His patience, experience and knowledge speak for itself. He’s very affordable and works well with many different backgrounds. A true practitioner of the arts.
