Definitely a wonderful place to practice karate! Classes are small which makes a great one on one experience with the instructor and student. They welcome you into class with a warm up but , take it slow when you are warming up because you will be using that energy when class begins. This is a very traditional martial arts school with a very deep tradition.

Great and friendly place in which you can learn the traditional Korean Martial Arts of Soo Bahk Do with highly skilled and well-mannered instructors. It's a great place to get fit, learn self defense, self discipline, and even gain confidence. Highly recommend!!

Many people often ask me whats the difference between the studio I train at and other karate studios around. I ask them, whats the difference between their friends and their family? They look at me puzzled. At kwons karate you truly are apart of a family and it goes well beyond my studio and reaches around the world to every soo bahk do practitioner. Master kwon has guided me through many years now, not only in martial arts but in everyday human interactions. I can honestly say I wouldnt be the person I am today if it wasn't for his instruction. The core values that are instilled in every moo duk kwan practitioner are priceless.
