We're loving taking classes from Master Gillie & Master Reece! My 3 1/2 year old son is thoroughly enjoying the classes... So much so, we quickly upgraded to the unlimited classes. I wasn't sure my son was old enough to focus and enjoy the classes, so Master Gillie gave us the choice of cancelling earlier if we wished. That ended up not being necessary, but I appreciated the gesture. I decided to start taking classes, also, and as a busy working mom, I am finally getting back into shape and feeling great! It is such a fun, rewarding way to workout. It's so great to be able to do it together as a family! The teachers are patient, but stern with my son to teach him focus and respect. My son has improved greatly in these areas, as well as balance & self-control. I especially like how they have the students complete goals outside of class. They are not only teaching them martial arts, but also teaching them to be good, well-rounded individuals that succeed in all areas of life. We couldn't be happier with our experience thus far with Champion Martial Arts!

I took two private lessons with Master Gillie to improve my Taekwondo and ground work. He did a great job going through drills and getting the mechanics of the movements down. Not only is he very knowledgeable and skilled, but he is also good at teaching. He can explain the concepts and the reason we do the things we do, he is patient and encouraging. He answers questions and will even give homework for you to improve yourself between classes. His gym is recently remodelled with new equipment and floor. It is so much fun to practice on! He will tell you how to move around the floor and how to defend yourself from a variety of moves, plus how to take advantage of situations and what to look out for. Overall, my classes went awesome and I will be returning for more!

Our family has been training with Master Gillie and his staff at Champion Martial Arts for over two years. Our son, Hunter, has earned his black belt, and our twin girls are on their way. My wife and I also study whenever we can. It's a great family bonding experience and Master Gillie makes it tons of fun while teaching our children the joys of hard work and discipline. Master Gillie's staff is top-notch, taking great care and paying special attention to the youngest students and stepping up their game to give the adults a challenge. Master Gillie also has several special needs students. His patience and compassion balanced with discipline is inspiring. Champion Martial Arts has become a second family for us. We highly recommend Master Gillie.

My daughter has been at Champion Martial Arts for just a month and loves it! Master Gillie is great with the kids! I never would have thought that my 4 1/2 year old would be doing push ups, sit ups, and using a weapon at such a young age. Her favorite thing is using the eskrima sticks. She has started saying yes sir in class and at home. She set a goal of cleaning her room every evening. Therefore, I would definitely recommend Champion Martial Arts. In just a month I have seen an improvement in her behavior. And a bonus is that they offer date nights occasionally so the parents can go out.

I took private training from Master Gillie several years ago, and was quite pleased. His teaching style is succinct and tailored to meet the student's individual needs. I've also attended some group classes and have been pleased to see that the same courtesies are shown in group settings. I've been impressed at how quickly he can pick up on the slightest idiosyncrasies in one's form and execution of movements so as best to keep the individual physically safe. I've also been pleased to see that he teaches a wide array of age groups and skill levels in his classes and is able to provide the same level of service to which I became accustomed in private training.
