My wife, family(son, wife, daughter, husband, and 2 grandchildren age 7 and 10)and I have just returned from your tour of China. I can't tell you enough what a wonderful time we had. The side trips to tea farms, jade factories, pearl farms, and an Eastern medicine clinic were very informative. Sampling the local cuisine in the provided meals was top quality. Plenty of free time later in the day to explore the local sights. And the hotels! I'm not familiar with how stars are awarded, but I saw nothing less than 4 star quality. Not just beautiful, but excellent service. The Chinese people were SO welcoming. When using the public transit during our free time,we found the local people more than willing to help us find our way. All the tour guides were excellent, but I would be remiss not to compliment Maggie. She did a great job keeping track of all the tour, which I can only compare to herding cats! She was very knowledgeable and informative. On behalf of our entire family, thanks for providing such a wonderful opportunity

A rewarding experience! I actually did this 10-day trip to China for the second time. First time was with a different tour company. My trip with Compass Holidays was certainly a far better experience! Tour guides Tina and Michael were a blast and made the trip extremely fun and exciting. Great insight into Chinese culture and history.

Before I start the pros and cons for this trip, I just want to say that Laila is a phenomenal agent and she was never too busy to answer any of my questions and guide me through the procedures that I had to follow. Let’s start with some of the negatives of this trip before I let you know about the absolute pros we had. In essence the trip is subsidized by the shopping excursions that you are taken to and are encouraged to buy the very high quality products. This sometimes became a hard sale. Me and my wife are Presbyterians, for the sake of convenience we tell people that we have vegetarians. I found that most of the food was cross contaminated and if you happen to be a vegetarian or vegan food will be an issue. This trip would not be recommended for children, unless their well versed in Chinese history and a very patient. PROS… This was a definite a lifelong experience that I will never forget. Most of the hotels were incredible and breakfast became my main meal for the day. The highlight of our trip was definitely Shanghai, the Great Wall of China, Forbidden Palace, Tiananmen Square and meeting great people. China definitely ticked some of my boxes and I would not hesitate in recommending anyone to take this trip and experience what me and my wife experienced. Definitely worth doing. Khalil (Calgary)

Both tour guides were excellent in every way. Is there a form we can complete or some other way to provide the company feedback regarding these excellent employees? Also the bus drivers were fantastic. We also would like to promote your company via Facebook or however you think we could best get the word out, because we think more people should go to China to see how beautiful and rich in history it is. And also we felt Compass was very helpful when we had any questions before our trip.
