A year ago I got lip coloring done by Tish O'Brien. Nice person, but she did a terrible job on my lips. Still dealing with the repercussions of the lip color tattoo botch job she did on me as I type this. I came to Tish asking if she could give me brown coloring on both my top and bottom lip. She seemed confident she could do it and since shes been doing this for a while I trusted her. I repeatedly told her in both text (that I still have) and through the phone and in person that I wanted brown NOT black, but brown. So naturally...she tattooed a blackish, greyish color into my lips. I wasn't angry, just curious as to why it was so dark and uneven. She said give it a little time to lighten. After a few weeks I asked her why are my lips still so dark and if she even used the color brown in my lips. She replied with "I used the color that I use when I do eyebrows". So basically this was her saying she didn't use the color I suggested without actually admitting it. But naively...I still trusted her to fix the coloring. So for the follow up she tattooed a much lighter brown to counter act the extreme dark color she put in my lips the first go around. She told me that the color would lighten in a bit...but after 5 and a half months the color was still basically black. The color she originally put into my lips were so dark that the lighter brown didn't take at all. So I finally decided that I would have to get the saline and salt treatment for removing cosmetic tattoo ink from my lips. Since the price of this was going to cost atleast and additional $400 I asked Tish since she was the one that made the mistake if she would refund me $150 of the $400 I paid her to help pay for the saline and salt treatment. Not only did she not refund me even a portion of my money she didn't even admit to any wrong doing even though i showed her multiple instances of proof in text messages. She herself sent me a picture of the blackish ink she put into my lips and the light brown she tried to fix the issue with (in the picture). Even after the saline treatments I still have the ink color in my lips its just faded. I should be able to get a lighter color tattooed over it now but this was a terrible experience for me. I came to her because part of my lips became discolored due to a blood vessel issue I had in my lip while ago so this bad experience stings extra bad for me. I came to her for help and I left even worse off that when I came to her. And she couldn't even own up to what was clearly her mistake. Not only was the lip color the wrong color, she didn't even do my full top lip, only the bottom of the top lip. Which looking back would have looked even worse since she used black and not brown. But still it wasn't what I paid for. And even worse, on the left side of my lip it looks like a deep black marker was permanently drown into my lips. She went so hard with the tattoo machine and over the same spot over and over that it created a really noticeable dark mark. Just multiple levels of bad. Through out all of this I was kind to her (im not a fan of drama, hence why I am just now writing this review). But I believe that owning a business isn't just about when you do a good job but how you respond to when you mess up. And after its all said and done Tish's mistake (that she refused to own up to) will cost me over $1000. Would NOT recommend.
