Dental Care, Dr. Charles Daly and Associates

They seem very nice and they want to help you however they don’t actually listen. I have white coat hypertension - they knew this, I also have anxiety about the dentist. I filled out my paperwork disclosing both. I haven’t been to the dentist in a long while, due to anxiety, and have two broken teeth I need fixed. They told me that they couldn’t do anything for me without doing a scaling first, but they could do it with sedation. They did say they would monitor me through the process and I would need someone to drop me off and pick me up. Then they made me wait two months. They gave me a prescription for two pills. One for the night before and one for the morning of. I followed every direction to the letter. I wanted it fixed and done with. I took the first pill the night before and it kept me awake the entire night. I could not sleep. I was exhausted but it stopped me from sleeping. I get to the dentist for 830 the next morning and I’m agitated, I haven’t slept and the anxiety is kicking in. I tell them this. They said well you should have slept. Really? I should have slept? I’m pretty sure I would have had you not made me take a pill that kept me awake. Then they said they needed to take my blood pressure. I told them it will be high. White coat hypertension and anxiety mixed will make it very high. She says oh we can’t do this if it’s high. Now I’m getting more aggravated as I’ve told them this from the start. She takes my blood pressure by putting the cuff half way on my upper arm and half way below - so it’s on my elbow. It errors out. Surprise. She moves it up a little - it’s still on my elbow and it cones back high. The dentist come out - we are in the waiting room - and the lady tells the dentist, her blood pressure is high. The dentist asks to see me in back. We go back there and she says they can’t do it with the raised blood pressure. I told her that you knew this, you knew all the issues and you didn’t have a problem with it. She says well I told you we’d monitor you. I explained again about the white coat hypertension and anxiety and she then very RUDELY says to me well I told you we’d monitor you I didn’t think I’d have to spell it out for you. So condescending. I left and will never go back nor recommend them to anyone.

Our first visit made us feel very comfortable. Their performance is excellent for dental care and they are a very friendly with their clients. I had a permanent peg tooth applied and I can only say that I love it and i am very happy with the procedure , doctor and assistants. i have never had such a great experience at a dental office as i did at Dr. Daly's office and i would like to thank them all for the care they give. My husband is not a person who likes to go to any doctor but he was very impressed with Dr. Daly's experience and feels very comfortable also to let them take care of his teeth. The Daly team are an amazing team for dental care and highly recommend them in every way for dental care. Thank you again
