Because I moved into town I had already had braces for about a year before going to Dr. Tjan's, so I knew the pain of braces and having them adjusted, also I had had a few fillings: so I knew a certain level of pain, but I have not before or since ever felt so much pain as when I was in Dr. Tjan's chair. Within a year of getting my braces off my permanent came unglued, so I went back and fortunately she fixed it for free. A few months later it came unglued again and a small gap opened between my teeth. I got it reglued by another dentist who told me that it had been glued right on my bite and therefore it would always come unglued. He changed the position slightly and then it lasted for about 7 years. Above all else I found Dr. Tjan to be rude and abrasive to her patients and staff.

Dr Tjan's office was good when we first went for appraisals and the first few appointments but since then they have been terrible. They have no later appointments so when I have to take the kids each month they always miss school and i always miss work. There are no discounts for bringing more than one child. They take payments out like clockwork but I always have to email them to receive the invoice for the monthly adjustments. The service has been VERY disappointing and if I had to do it all over again I would look elsewhere.

This orthodontist should not be in business. Terrible experience over all, I've waited almost an hour past my appointment time to be seen. Go anywhere else but here for orthodontics.
