Had a terrible tooth ache and he was nice enough to see me the same day, however once I got in his office and they verified my insurance, I felt discriminated against because he acted like he wasn't going to get paid. Based on his referral, I went to the endodontist for the root canal, who was awesome! I was still in so much pain even after the root canal that I went back to the specialist that let me know that I had a cracked tooth in which the dentist overlooked. Then because Dr. Petros is only available on a Monday or Tuesday (because of my insurance), his office called to cancel my appointment the day before and let me know if I didn't come in the same day that I would have to wait another week, even though I'm in tremendous pain! They charged me $25 for the x-rays that were already paid for by my insurance, so I could get a copy for a 2nd opinion. Then after I paid for them I got a call stating they had no ink in their printer and I'd have to wait until 1 p.m. I waited and never got the x-rays, I had to follow up with his other office that had the ink and let them know what I needed. An uneducated, ghetto secretary at his mission valley office was mouthy and very difficult to deal with. I was going to need about $3k worth of crowns and other work and she was acting like I should be so lucky to even be their customer! His assistants that took the actual x-rays looked and acted like they got their education in prison! Don't use this dentist unless you want to deal with their ghetto attitudes!
