Was told to arrive 15 minutes before appt time. Arrived 20 minutes before and was left waiting for 10 minutes as there was no one at the front desk. 3 separate staff members walked by and only 1 asked if I had been helped. After waiting another 10 minutes, I was called back and talked to very unprofessionally and condescending by the older woman with white/blonde hair. She asked me for x-rays from my previous dentist and I had informed her that I wasn't told to bring anything other than my ID and insurance card. Her response was "oh I very seriously doubt that" basically insinuating that I was lying. She then proceeded to tell me that without getting or having my previous x-rays I could not be seen. I told her to take new ones and she said that my insurance wouldn't pay for them because it hasn't been a year since my last set. (For the record, not that it matters, 11 months) I tried to explain that this was new insurance and she snapped and said "it doesn't matter. They will not pay". This is a flat out lie. I work in healthcare, and my specialty for the last 9 years has been insurance. New job, new insurance, they will pay. As a healthcare professional and manager, if my staff ever talked to or treated a patient with such disrespect and rudeness, they would no longer have a job. So suffice it to say, they lost my business and that of the 3 dependants on my coverage. There's forty minutes of my life I'll never get back. WORST EXPERIENCE ever!!!
