I have always had a great experience at Westhampton Dentistry. Scheduling appointments is easy, the staff is very friendly and the office is so inviting. I started going to Dr. Way nine years ago. In need of a root canal at that time; my previous dentist office was unable to see me in a timely manner. The Westhampton Dentistry staff had me in that day and Dr. Way treated me with antibiotics. It was complex on x-ray, and I was referred to an endodontist for a root canal. I returned to Dr. Way for the crown on that tooth. Since that first experience I have gone for cleanings every six months, another crown and a recent root canal that Dr. Way performed. Dr. Way also closed a gap that I had in my front teeth and I get so many compliments on my smile.

Positives: Really friendly staff - including receptionist, hygenist, and Dr. Way. Clean office. Accomodating at scheduling appointments, really work to find a time that fits in your schedule and without having you wait weeks if you need follow-up. Negatives: I only went twice (once for a cleaning, and once for a follow-up cavity filling), but both times I waited 15-20 minutes to be seen. I felt Dr. Way was very "drill-happy". After one appointment, he found one cavity and three other spots of decay which he recommended treating as cavities even though most other dentists would mark them down to check at the next appointment before recommending any action. Well, I've only had one cavity in my entire life, practice good hygeine, and even months later I have no sensitivity or discomfort in those teeth despite opting not to have them filled so I'm pretty sure he was just looking for more business. I don't trust him and will not be returning.
