Dr. Maring is everything that you look for in an oral surgeon: thoughtful, clear communicator that puts your wishes first, perfectionist, thorough, and very knowledgeable with integrity. As a RN with a brother who isa dentist (in another city), I have given a good amount of time and research in this. Dr. Maring performed a fairly large operation on me (bone graft from my hip into my upper jaw with sinus elevation). I highly recommend him.

Dr. Thomas Maring did an amazing job to remove all my three (yes, not four) wisdom teeth. One of them was partial, while another one was horizontal. The surgery finished in about 30 minutes without any discomfort. I was nervous when they told me they had to put me under. However, I didn't feel any pain and kept consciousness. Intravenous anesthesia might be what they used but I'm not sure. My recovery was insanely quick comparing to all my friends. I felt no pain after the first night. I didn't take any pain killer at all. The surgery was on Friday. I was able to take a walk on the next day and come to work the next Monday or Tuesday. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas Maring and his team.

My old review said that I waited for more than an hour just to be seen for an appointment, and it was 1 star, because I was angry. My new review is 5 stars, because he removed all four of my wisdom teeth, and he did a fantastic job, very painless, quick, and professional. I would recommend it to anyone.

Dr. Thomas Maring is a wonderful oral surgeon who made removing my wisdom teeth a breeze with his calm demeanor and quick but not-too-quick speed of work. I opted for local anesthesia (novocaine) and not only did I feel no pain, I was in and out in under 25-30 minutes with no after-effects outside of the typical next day soreness and recovery. He and his assistant that day were both professional, highly-knowledgeable and everything from scheduling appointments to discussing next steps after surgery were done well. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas Maring and his team.

Dr. Maring did a stellar job on an implant that I had needed for years. He was thorough and easy to work with. I had such great results that I went back to him to have my wisdom teeth removed. Again, it was virtually painless and I healed quickly even after having all four removed at the same time. Dr. Maring is where my dentist sends his kids. That says a lot. He is a little pricy, but well worth it.
