My wife has been trying to get a cut and color from this salon for several weeks. After several appointments where my wife waited for David to show up with no appearance and no call or text that he was going to be late, he finally arrived to one and did the cut and color. The cut looks fine but the color was very poor. After several other missed appointments he informed my wife he will be charging her additional money for the “wasted product” and time he spent as well as have her come in for another appointment to correct the damage. Needless to say we have nothing but poor things to say about the experience and we caution others about getting any color service with this business. We will not be returning and consider the charge as unnecessary but will pay it. Please be careful with this business.

Dave does great work, I have never had a bad cut from him. He is friendly and kind also, which is a refreshing change from the haircut mills.

Wife here. Just wanted to clarify some things. David is a really nice man. He as willing to give me extra color that I did not pay for, because i had not looked at the fine print. And altough I had to make 4 separate appointments with this man before getting my hair done, it was a pleasent experience in store with him. He is very likeable and easy to talk to. (At least he was before I decided to never come back, and left this review and my husband’s.) What I did not appreciate was his handling of his business. He does not have call forwarding, so good luck trying to get him on the phone. He is not prompt on his scheduling at all. He will message you DAYS after you message him, and at that point the appointment time you were trying to set is filled. He says he has service issues, which I can understand. He also, did not ask me what I use on my hair before doing the dye job. If he had asked, he would have realised that I use drug store product (because I cant afford anything else) that can leave wax on the hair causing it to not stick. He then could have washed it, and this would all be done and over with. We also didnt bleach my hair before hand, which in the end also probably caused the color to not stay as well. This was all to “save time” on his part, which I was appreciative of but I have wasted over 5 weeks on this one hair style. I do not wish to slander his name. He is a good guy, but he needs to rethink how he handles his phone scheduling. He needs to be more cautious about how he handles color jobs in the future to avoid “waxy products” left in the hair. His cut was good. I look very cute in this cut. But as you can see, most of his reviews are for his cuts.
