Love LOVE! For starters, the entire staff is so friendly and professional and makes you feel very welcome. Lauren, my stylist, is amazing and I highly recommend her. As well all know, life can become chaotic, and unexpected things occur. I appreciate how professional, and understanding the entire staff is when it comes to rescheduling, even being able to squeeze me in last minute! Unfortunately, my car battery died when I was about to leave for a morning apt I had made with Lauren. I then reluctantly had to cancel. Lauren was SO understanding, and went above and beyond by offering to squeeze me in after her last scheduled apt for the day. Stylists at m Castelli studio treat you like more than just a client, you’re a priority.

Just got my hair done and absolutely loved it. I have been working with Lauren for a few years and she always seems to know exactly what I mean when I describe what I'm looking for. Everyone is so polite asking if you want coffee or tea right when you walk in. Since moving out of Newton, I still commute to this salon just to have Lauren style my hair.

COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Will never go back! After being a client at this salon for about 2 and a half years, I was incredibly disappointed by my most recent experience with them. I had an appointment booked for 3 months in advance. The week of my appointment I was asked to push my 1:30 PM appointment to 11 AM because Melyssa (the owner of the studio) had a "family matter" to tend to. I said no problem and rearranged my day for the new time. Then on the morning of, just as I was about to leave for my appointment, I received a text from Melyssa saying she had woken up with a horrible stomach bug and would have to cancel on me. I realize that everyone gets sick, but I was disappointed. I called the salon and they could not fit me in with anyone else. Later that day I was surprised to see that she was not in fact sick in bed, but at the Patriots game! She posted it on her Facebook, clear as day. So if you want to get your hair done there just be prepared for them to cancel on you when something better comes up, and have them blatantly lie to you about it.

I have been going to M. Castello Studio for the past couple of months to see Lisa R. She is absolutely amazing! I had black hair; after a color correction and a few full foils she has turned me into a blonde! I love her and the studio; it is always clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
