Always a great experience. Ms Edith, who is the owner is great and makes you feel very comfortable when working with you. (All the associates are nice) They are like my family

Have been a customer for nearly 10years. I always get compliments on my hair.

Since the owner seems confused about why I gave a 2* rating, I shall elaborate on my experience. I went to this salon for a bang trim and requested side bangs. Because it is a salon, I assumed they knew what I meant or ask for more details if they were uncertain as to what I wanted exactly. I remember having to fill out a sheet, but no more details were asked of me. I remember thos haircut because it is the most painful haircut that I have ever had and also is what made me decide that I'd rather cut my own bangs from now on. I'd like to emphasize this point as one of the main reasons that my rating is so low; I have been to other salons, and I have never experienced a bang trim like this. I remember when the woman cut my hair, it felt like it was pulling at the roots, and I recall tears forming in my eyes if not actually falling. I also felt worried about my hair and wondering if it would be okay due to the excessive tugging at the roots. The woman ended up cutting my hair more like a straight bang, rather than what I wanted, but I didn't mind too much at the moment because I was okay with straight bangs. After getting home and taking a closer, longer look, I felt like it wasn't quite as acceptable and decided to slowly fix it myself (because recutting it would make the bangs way too short). I feel like this problem may have occurred because this salon is more familiar with Afro hair than Asian hair.
