They helped us pick out the most beautiful engagement ring and wedding rings i could ever imagine. They are absolutely perfect. We look forward visiting them again for our future jewellery needs. What a fantastic experience! I highly recommend VandenDool Jewellers. I worked with Adam in creating a custom wedding band and a vintage engagement ring update! My sourced gem is beautiful and the craftsmanship is excellent. It was such a fun process and I have beautiful pieces to last a lifetime. He also managed to salvage a damaged emerald and made it into a pendant! Thanks again so much for all of your hard work. 5 stars for sure :)

I called in to ask about a specific gift I was looking for and the saleslady told me about something I might like. We discussed price of the item over the phone and I asked if there was any “wiggle room” as I always do (I worked in a jewelry store for a few years while in school and there can be wiggle room in pricing depending on the store). I was told to “come in and we can see what we can do” and in the meantime, the salesperson proceeded impatiently in putting my item on hold, obtaining my first name, last name and phone number for holding. When I went in later that day, the salesperson that I spoke with was busy with another customer and I was assisted by a second saleslady. When she asked the original saleslady about where my item was, the original salesperson did not even look up to say hello to me, but simply informed her of where to find the item on hold. A simple greeting from her would have been nice. The second saleslady who assisted me with my purchase: (1) told me there was no wiggle room whatsoever for this item (I would have appreciated honesty about the price over the phone before I made the trip over instead of being misled in believing there could possibly have been some wiggle room) (2) rushed me through the purchase barely stopping to answer my questions, kept typing the purchase information into the computer without even stopping or looking up to answer my questions (3) when I asked about a certain type of gemstone, I was told “they are very expensive” in a bit of a demeaning tone, she could have stopped and showed me other items instead of telling me how expensive they are (I am well aware of this) The store was busy and my purchase was a small one, and I can appreciate that she probably wasn’t getting the commission because she didn’t take the original phone call, however it would have been nice to have had more patient and respectful service all around. If someone asks a question about something, stop what you are doing, walk over to her/him at the item and give them the time of day. You are the one who is losing if you brush them off and rush them. I have two other gifts that I need to buy this month and I can assure you that they will not be at your store after this experience. Sorry. love this store. the customer service is impeccable!! ALL staff is pleasant. just went in today to get rings cleaned and treated me the same as when I purchased.

Yesterday, May 9th I spoke with a lovely woman, Sandra on the phone with regards to having a watch battery changed. She gave me all the info I needed including price and the possibility of MAYBE having to wait should they be overly busy. Today, May 10th I went into this beautiful Jewellery store and although Sandra was not in at the time, I was taken care of by Maureen who could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Although the store was somewhat busy, I waited absolutely no time for the battery in my watch to be changed. This was such a small job on such an inexpensive watch BUT, I was taken care of the same way as if I was in there to spend thousands of dollars. Thank you for your kindness and respect, it was greatly appreciated. And I must say, the jewellery in their showcases was absolutely stunning.
