Very disappointed. I was shopping around for a 24 inch gold chain for my mother for Christmas .I went to peoples first .The sales person quoted me a price of 299.00 .I had a voucher for 100.00 from a previous purchase, which made the price comparable to other places in the mall. So I decided to purchase it at people's. She did not show me the necklace before or after she rang it through the register she gift wrapped it and I was on my way . My 85 year old mother was so excited when she saw the people's bag ,when she tried it on she was so disappointed that it wasn't long enough. I went back to peoples on boxing day thinking she made a mistake and I would get the 24 inch necklace that I originally paid for.The one clerk recognized me ....She new exctly what I asked for.I was told that I paid for a 22inch chain and to get the 24 inch chain it would cost me another $100.00.and that the sales person made a mistake .Is that really my problem??After about 15 minutes of waiting while the two clerks mumbled back and forth to eachother neither of them seemed to know what to do. Finally I asked for a refund .I received a refund and lost my 100.00 apprecialtion voucher. Not that I will ever need it as I will not be shopping at Peoples anymore.I have always shopped at the Burlington Mall Store for over 30 years and never had a problem. Its really disappointing to have such a reputable company let me down. Such poor customer service I will never go back.

It doesn’t deserve the one star! Nothing but problems!!!!! Management is terrible!!!!!

If i can give 0 stars i would. I order my ring from peoples in August, and it was a special order because i needed a size 4, And every month id go and ask if my ring has come in yet and a staus of the ring and every time the workers would tell me its on its way and not to worry. Fast forwarding to December i recieve a call telling me my ring was either never placed for order or a confusion happened. I was beyond livid at this point because ive been waiting so long. At this point they tell me i need to wait anyother 6-12 weeks. The manager told me she would call me thursday with a possible solution because my engagement party was the friday. Friday comes along and ive recieved no call, so i called in myself for her to tell me she "forgot" Now going into my engagement ringleas is heart breaking enough , they tell me theyres nothing else they can do. Beyond frustrating, upsetting anf stressful. Never will I recommend peoples jewellers to anyone.
