WILL DEFINITELY NEVER GO BACK! EXPENSIVE, BAD SERVICE QUALITY! I had an antique enamel bracelet where a piece of the clasp broke off, a shell cameo brooch where the c clasp is missing, a coral cameo brooch where the pin is missing. I felt I was ripped off, because I had a similar brooch pin replaced at Fidea Jewelers and they charged only $30. The other 2 repairs were much much simpler than this. I was charged $150. Price negotiation was not possible, and the best I got was "no HST"; later I found out if you pay cash you are not charged tax anyways. The jobs were poorly done: The clasp was simply soldered. It doesn't spring any more. As a result, it becomes very loose in the bracelet and has to be constantly adjusted with tweezers / fingernail so it'll lock. The red coral cameo which was VERY VERY expensive came out all dry with white powdery stuff all over. Have no idea what they did to it. The shell cameo was installed UPSIDE DOWN after they put on the new c clasp (which was basically a tiny c-shaped half loop), so now the pin points to the right instead of to the left, which looks really weird. Also, because shell is slightly irregular in shape, the bezel was custom made and there is ONLY one way that it's supposed to sit in its frame. Now because it's upside down, it just doesn't fit snugly any more. What's worse, I can't even do anything because it is all GLUED ON! She seemed so nice when she first talked to me, but turned out in fact very PUSHY. Before we even had a deal she was rushing to bag all of the pieces and taking them away. When I was paying, she just grabbed the money like a vulture and started counting, before the money even dropped from my hand. VERY RUDE. When I questioned her about the badly soldered bracelet clasp, she was like"oh I don't know what happened, it was working perfectly just now!" Oh come on!!! How am I supposed to believe that?

Both I and my wife visited Madlen Jewellery on November 2014 to make enquiries regarding a custom sized 14k double comfort fit wedding band for myself. We were greeted by Madlen upon arrival, explained what I wanted regarding style, dimensions and type of metal to be used. We were given a quote on the price then left the store. We shopped around various jewellers and I also looked online for comparisons but could not find a ring, offering the same specifications that I requested for anything close to what Madlen jewellery Inc had offered us. We returned to see Madlen on June 2015 and as we entered, she remembered us, greeted both of us warmly and even remembered what I was looking for over six months previously. After we discussed my exacting requirements, we struck a deal and paid in advance for a custom ring to be made. The ring was ready for collection two weeks later. I met my wife after she finished work and we hurried to Madlen Jewellery Inc to collect my new band. We arrived and Madlen instantly greeted us and pulled out my ring for inspection. Both I and my wife were extremely pleased with the results. A highly polished, 8mm heavyweight 14k white gold double comfort band, perfectly made and flawless. It was popped in a small red ring box and we left utterly overjoyed. I never tried on the actual ring until my wife slipped it on my finger on the day of our marriage during our vows but it fitted perfectly. To summarise, we both feel that we were given excellent service. There were some negotiations during the initial purchase but I believe that to be a good thing as the buyer has the power to get the best deal possible and Madlen Jewellery Inc tried hard to meet our price, requirements and expectations even 7 months after receiving a quote. Bravo Madlen! Although there has been negative reviews regarding this establishment, our experience was that of a pleasurable one and at no point did we feel that there was anything untoward going on with our purchase. Thank you Madlen Jewellery Inc for your assistance in making our "Big day" the best it could be. I wear my ring on a daily basis and love the look and feel, as does everyone that has seen it.

My children wanted to purchase a special chain for their older brother's birthday. Money is very tight with them both working for minimum wage, so this was a huge splurge on their part. They found what they were looking for at Madlen's and were to pick it up the next day. There was a bit of miscommunication between my kids and Madlen, so I went down to help clear it up. At the onset Madlen wanted to rectify the situation and another chain was ordered. Today, we picked up the correct chain and Madlen went over and above with making us happy customers. Thank you so very much, Madlen.

I was so mad at her. I paid double Price than what other venders offer. Same quality, same design, factory manufactured ring. This is sure scam. Do not go there. She will scam you as well. She was so nice at first time then we asked about why we paid double price. She changed her attitude. She even agreed on that. Do not ever go there. I suggest other vendors down the same street. Their offer is way better. Don't feed scammer like her
