Incredible shop with amazing people inside, who create little boxes with beautiful jewelry within. Sam, the gemologist will work with you to create a design you love. He will also help you pick beautiful, quality stones (it's a tough market to navigate alone!). Dennis will turn your design into an incredible, tangible piece of jewelry you will be so thrilled to wear or give. I have seen these guys create such an amazing range of pieces, from simple rings to little statues made of precious metals and stones. They make the experience very personal and memorable, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for something special.

I'm happy to know this place exist. Dennis is friendly, professional and clearly passionate about his job. He fixed my gold chain and taught me a few things about my own chain that I didn't know. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

This place is incredible. I went to nearly ten jewellers looking to get a custom engagement ring made for my girlfriend. I walked into Joy creations and was greeted by Sam. I told him briefly what I was looking for. He gave me advice on how to navigate the market, speak with jewellers, and avoid getting ripped off. He never once tried to pressure me into going with him. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted so Sam made multiple 3-D models of my ideas so I could get a better idea of how I would look. He is incredibly proficient with the design software. He met with me 3 times until the design was exactly what I wanted. Following that he brought me in to meet the goldsmith. They allowed me to make last minute changes to the design and still finished in the quoted time. I can't say enough good things about Sam and his goldsmith. They are honest, down to earth, and do an incredible job - the ring turned out better than I could ever have imagined. Looking forward to getting our wedding bands done with them.

It's really hard to put into words just how amazing this place is and the staff who run it. When I started looking for an engagement ring and wedding ring for my wife I went all over town to various jewelry stores. At every one I did not feel comfortable with how the staff approached the sale. Very pushy, not really helpful and most of the stores just straight up didn't have anything I thought would suite my wife. As a machinist I decided to make the rings myself, yet there were aspects I knew I would need help with. I went to metal supermarkets and talked with the staff on a material to make the ring out of. I decided on 304 stainless steel for its hardness and it's amazing shine. After, I knew I needed to sit down with a jeweler and work out the design and what the limitations were in terms of setting the stones, and the dimensions of the band. I had called a couple places and it was clear that no one at that point would work with this material for a custom ring. That is until I met Dennis at joy creations. Formerly being a machinist himself and having a serious passion for his craft, Dennis was emediately excited to work with me on this project. Being someone who is passionate about my craft this gave me a really good feeling that we were going to create something truly one of a kind together. After much discussion and throwing ideas around we came up with a plan. I then started on machining the band's for the rings which proved to be a learning curve in itself. After much delay on my part I was finally able to get the band's over to Dennis so he could work his magic. The budget we had set for the project was not super high, so we discussed the reality's of the finished product which I knew would be the case. With time running out and my nerves shot Dennis called me to say the rings were ready. When he showed me the rings for the first time I was absolutely blown away at what Dennis did with the bands. To say that he did with the bands outdid my expectations is a massive understatement. The bands shined brighter than I imagined the diamonds looked better than I imagined and the tears streaming down my wife's face in joy were more beautiful than I imagined. We had accomplished something super special and beautiful. Dennis is one of the few people i know to go ten times further to make something work. The amount of effort he put in to figuring out how he was going to braze the diamond claw into the band was astounding. His work is truly inspiring. Hands down the best customer service I've yet to experience in any shopping situation, period. The staff is incredible and the jewelry is gorgeous. 100 percent recommended to everyone.
