Would highly NOT RECOMMEND - I thought I would write an experience on behalf of my parents. They went in to look for a fair price like everyone would, however upon showing the jewelry, Harold went to the back to further inspect it and came back with a lowball offer (to be expected). When my parents turned it down, he gave it back, however the chain was cut. My parents were obviously upset as he had no reason to cut the chain. My parents asked why he had cut it (did not explain), his response was, “Well you have two options now you can sell it to me now, or you can pay me to repair it” - Lesson learned do not trust anyone to take anything to further inspect while losing sight of your possession. Experience 0/5 Fairness 0/5 Trustworthiness 0/5 While reading a few posts it’s pretty clear that the high rated reviews all have only one review hence these are all new account to bring up the rating. Not to add the responses from Harold have all be examples of how your experience would be like if you visit the store.

As an experienced gold stacker I would never go here or Oliver's. Just read the blog TO review of this place which is unbiased. Half of the positive reviews here are just Harold's staff shilling and the overly negative ones are from oliver or some other competitor. No amount of desperation should ever make you go to these places. There are honest places in toronto if you do a little research

This place tries to profit from the poor. I went in with a friend and he offered her $300. I told him I would give her more. He then offered her $350. This still wasn't acceptable and we started to walk out to our surprise he offered her $500.I told him I would give my friend $600. He then said he would give her $650. A reasonable offer we accepted. Do some research before selling your gold.

Harold was honest and communicative throughout the process, we didn't reach a deal because the price of gold isn't where I'd like it to be yet but I will come back to sell when it peaks a little higher. I read some of the other reviews and the store doesn't smell, it's not messy or dirty or crowded, no animals in it, and there were no pressure tactics used to push into selling and I wasn't lowballed.

Got the highest offer from this guy. He was honest and easy to deal with and most importantly he didn’t play games like the other places I visited. If you want deal with a straight shooter then this is the guy you want to deal with.
