I'd would give this place more stars if I could. I love their store, quality, and customer service. The owners Justin and Vinnie are great! Highly recommend them.

Ordered a custom ring for my girlfriend for Valentines Day. Super affordable & great quality. Highly recommend them if you need any kind of jewelry/ repairs. Also, theyâ€ℒre very nice guys.

Went here to get my upside down cross pendant engraved, these guys did not bat an eye at me and welcomed me in. They engraved like professionals, and gave me a new platinum chain for my cross at a great price. If you need any jewelry work done, go here, amazing work, great customer service, these guys rule. Hail Satan.

I took my wedding set (engagement ring soldered with diamond band) to see if they could fix the prong on my central diamond. No problem $50. I got it back in a timely manner but noticed it was still catching on things. I took it back and they saw the cause. "No problem. Sorry about that. Those types of prongs are hard to get right. We will take care of it." Perfect! Stand by your work. I totally understand when things don't go perfect. They were really nice each encounter. I would have given a 5 star rating at that time. They left a message that it would take a bit longer because they "had to order a part." Picked it up the second time. Looked beautiful. Didn't catch on anything. Got it home. That evening, I felt like I had a splinter in my finger. Found that one of the diamonds in my BAND was sticking through the bottom of the ring. Took it back. The person told me there was nothing they could do about it because my band was so thin and the person who made it didn't leave room for improvement. "But that wasn't, at all, what I brought it in for." Calls the guy (owner?) who fixed it. "Apparently, three of the diamonds in the band fell out during cleaning and one couldn't be found so he ordered another diamond" which doesn't fit in there. I was given the option of them trying to build up the gold so the diamond wouldn't cut my finger or I can have the band remade for $600-700. By the way, all the diamonds in the ring were from my grandma's wedding set! So I let them try to build it up. Picked it up for the third time. They gave me my "missing" diamond in a bag. The gold around the replaced diamond looked poorly put together but I figured no one but me would notice, but maybe I could at least wear it. The diamond was still slightly scraping my finger but not cutting it now. Less than two hours after I got home, the diamond NEXT to the new diamond popped out and I lost it. So... I won't be going back. Maybe they would offer to fix it again, but I just don't trust them. I feel like it was not ethical to replace a [family] diamond and not tell me and, very clearly, they didn't really know what they were doing. By the way, I have been wearing the set for 9 years and I have never had any diamond even loosen up. The band was made the way it was because it was made FOR the diamonds that I presented at the time. I really wanted to like them and have a new jeweler to use.

We are so happy with our experience at La Placa Jewlers. Recenty we purchased wedding bands for our Daughter and soon to be Son in Law. One ring was a custom creation using stones and gold from a family piece. Both rings were ready when promised and absolutely beautiful. Thank you Justin and Vinny.
