Mr. Charles was nothing but exceptional during my entire experience of purchasing a new timepiece at Sylvan’s. As a younger client, it would be easy to dismiss me as not “worth the time”, but Mr. Charles gave me as much attention (and most likely even more) than is often given by the majority employees. I thoroughly enjoyed speaking with him for a long while, and he did not pressure me to purchase immediately. In fact, he tracked down a watch on my behalf and had it sent to the store. We consistently spoke on the phone and he was very patient with me. Finally, when my watch arrived, Mr. Charles continued to go above and beyond by providing me the most exquisite customer service. Whether it was constantly removing and adding links to my bracelet, or asking many questions to ensure I had the best experience possible. I am delighted that I chose to shop at Sylvan’s, and highly recommend Mr. Charles for any of your needs! It is a very clean and high quality store with professional staff that can assist you with whatever inquiries you may have.

Justin assisted me on short notice and did a wonderful job! In addition to communicating with me, he had to coordinate with a hand engraver for a project with a week turnaround time. Things such as pricing, engraving options, font, etc. were discussed and decisions were perfectly executed. I had the gift back days before I even expected it. The follow-up by Sylvan's was great. It's nice to see good customer service does still exist. It's even better knowing such an awesome local business is on Main Street!

The experiences my family has had at Sylvan's over the years have been excellent. The first time I walked into the store in 2009 as a new college graduate looking to purchase a ring for my bride-to-be, I was fortunate that Charles Dodd was the one that helped me. Charles was so accommodating in helping to craft the exact ring I wanted and worked with me every step of the way on all the small details. We've made other purchases with him since, and he's always so welcoming when we see each other in person. Charles genuinely cares about his customers, is engaging, and makes you feel like a family member. There's never any pressure from him and he always goes the extra mile to help out and show his customers that they're important and valued. I would highly recommend not only the quality of the jewelry at Sylvan's, but the customer service that Charles provides that can put you at ease when making such a substantial investment.

Sylvan's - and more specifically, Charles Dodd - became a part of our lives almost 10 years ago when my husband purchased my engagement ring. Charles spent countless hours with us pouring over designs and learning what I wanted and found the perfect band for my husband's family stone. Charles has provided excellent service and exhibited untold amounts of patience through the years with us. He's worked with me to have my grandmother's pearls restrung and create a custom clasp for the pearls out of my great-grandmother's ring - which is now one of my most prized pieces. And while I am very partial to Charles, who feels like a part of our family, all of the people at Sylvan's have always been inviting, kind and welcoming. Shopping at Sylvan's is a very personalized experience with a wide-range of high-quality selection. They take the time to get to know you and your style and make thoughtful recommendations based on your personal preference and budget. Sylvan's has been our choice for the last decade and you should make it yours too!

I had an incredible experience at Sylvan's. I went into the store not really sure what to expect; I was shopping for a birthday gift for my wife. Carol was most helpful and patient. I felt totally at ease as she showed me various bracelets. I have often walked by Sylvan's but had never walked in prior to my visit. They have a customer for life and I cannot wait until my next visit. They have a great selection of jewelry but more important, their customer service is outstanding!
