I love my necklace set I found at Ambika this weekend. I was browsing the plaza to find a piece of jewellery that I could wear with work outfits and traditional clothing. I found the perfect design that met my style, quality and budget. I had a very pleasant experience with the owner as well as she was patient and had a lot of knowledge about the jewellery. I’m looking forward to visiting this beautiful showroom again.

I’m surprised by the few negative reviews. I’ve been a customer for over 5 years, since moving to Markham. I had another pleasant experience today which is why I wanted to share my review. I have purchased everything from small nosepin to my large gold ornaments. I have always dealt with the owner who is incredibly genuine, kind and prices her items fairly. Knowing that I do not have much family here, she always remembers and asks about my travels back home and has helped me choose many gift items for them. They may need to train some of their staff to be more friendly but I have never had a negative experience at Ambika. They have a very good selection of all 916 hallmark jewellery.

My mom found a gorgeous pair of bangles today. Lovely store with kind staff.

I am writing about the excellent service I received yesterday from Rita, a sales rep at the Markham branch. She was polite, good listener and patient. When I found exactly what I was looking for, there was a problem as it was an anklet and not a chain. But she was very creative and made it work for me. I can not say how thankful I was to her when I really found it exactly as I wanted. Had it not been for her desire to help me, I would have returned without buying anything. This store is really good for buying gold.

I have to share my experience with this jewelry store. I moved to Canada in 1999. I used to go to the location at Kennedy and eglinton for all my family’s jewellery. When we moved to Markham, we started to coming to this location. I will always by my gold from Ambika because I can have peace of mind knowing I am buying pure gold. I feel the store is also lucky for our family.
