I love this little shop full of knowledge! I have brought several watches in for repair and battery replacements over the last couple of years. They are not the cheapest, nor should they be. Experience and skill cost money, and you always get what you pay for. In a time were it seems the world has given up on real quality and skill, it is refreshing to step into The Watch Clinic and see master craftsmen at work. I am saddened that so many reviewers are so hard on Vivian. She is wonderfully direct and pulls no punches. I like very direct and straight forward people, and Vivian is one of a kind.

Can you put 0 stars? First of all I want to state that i don't doubt that the people that work here have lots of experience. The shop has been around many years and I'm sure its not by fluke they are still in business. However I cant remember ever getting such terrible customer service in my life. The owner is very pushy rude and condescending.I went in to have a link added to my bracelet and within 10 minutes im being quoted 300$ for a new bracelet without them even trying to repair it. once i said no to the 300$ she got even more attitude as i was now wasting her time. The watch repair guy was able to repair it with pins they had in the store. He quoted me 25$ for the repair. When it came time to pay she quoted me 39$ saying i had to pay over 10 $ for a 1 cent spring pin. I will never go here again !

I took a family passed down pocket watch to this Clinic to get repaired. I was 100% satisfied with the repair. Vivian is a special lady who treats her customers with respect and care, she was so very helpful. I fully 100% recommend this Watch repair shop.

I went in to get a watch serviced that I had previously scoured the internet for any information about it, with no luck. I brought the watch in and with one glance they knew the exact movement inside the watch. The quality of work is incredible and unmatched by any in the city. The woman that people seem to dislike is actually very kind she just speaks in a direct manner that can be hard for some people to appreciate. She is just very proud of the work they do. She kindly showed me the work they did on the watches and the great collection of vintage time pieces they had. I have seen some complaints about "the battery replacement costing 2 times as much as other places" it is because you are receiving 2 times the quality of work. They are the only place in Ottawa that was able to service my Tag Heuer, did it cost a premium? Yes. Was it worth it? Yes. The service cost may seem high but you are guaranteed quality. Like most things there are economy versions like Watch It, who will service your watch for less, but the likelihood of them wrecking your watch is astronomically higher. I would much rather have a trained professional who has worked his whole life working on watches repair and service my watch, than some teenager who knows nothing about what he is doing. They are proud, local business who provide excellent craftsmanship and service. Plus, they also have a cute dog.

Fast and helpful, and highly recommended. My Gucci watch, which I had bought at jubilee jewellers stopped working. I thought it was just the battery that needed to be replaced, but I was concerned something else might be wrong because the battery was only 9 months old, and that one had replaced another battery that only lasted 4 months. I had historically brought the watch to jubilee, who said they send to Gucci repair service, but jubilee is now closed. I spent several weeks trying to find out who is an authorized dealer in my city, with no luck. I called a Gucci store in Toronto, but they could not (or would not) help me, other than to tell me to send it to them. Same thing when I called Gucci customer service in the USA. Nobody could or would help me. I finally sent an email to Gucci corporate in Europe, but they never replied to a first or a Followup email. Gucci clearly have bad customer service and don’t seem to care about their customers once the sale is done. Out of options, I googled to see who might change batteries for higher end watches in Ottawa, and came across the watch clinic. They have been extremely helpful from the first call. I brought the watch in and they would change the battery on the spot while I waited - bonus! I don’t have to wait 6 weeks for it to be sent away and returned. Making matters worse is what they told me, which is the wrong size battery was used last time, it had leaked, and the coil and circuit now needs to be replaced. This is from the authorized Gucci service centre! Now I wonder if this problem existed before and is the reason the batteries were dying prematurely, but of course nobody ever told me this until the watch clinic. They have gained me as a customer and I highly recommend them for all your watch and clock needs.
