I called Jim because he did work for a prior landlord where I rented. He responded immediately, set up a time to come quickly, and fixed the problem that day. I could trust him with the keys to the house. All around good guy and did a good job. Thanks, Jim.

I took a day off of work to get some plumbing work done on my house. I scheduled an appointment with Jim Peterson Plumbing for 10:00. 10 rolls by, no call, no response. I call their number and get voicemail. I continue to call every half hour until about 2 hours later someone picks up and tells me he's not sure where the plumber is. A bit later I get a text message telling me they're busy and won't be able to make the appointment we set. They made no effort to reach out to me proactively and inform me that they wouldn't be able to come by. And they did absolutely nothing to reimburse me after the fact. I can't say anything about the quality of their work since they never showed up. But if you have a tight schedule and want a plumber that you can confidently trust to honor their appointments, I don't recommend going with these guys.

I called at 830, he was over by 930 and had the problem taken care of in 15 minutes. Reasonably priced and very polite. One happy customer!

I've been using Jim for plumbing issues at my rental house in Berkley for several years. He's responsive, does great work, and his prices are fair. Recently I called him about frozen pipes. I gladly would have paid him to come out and take care of them, but he just walked me through how to take care of them myself. Saved me time and money.

I had noticed some back up in my drain and decided to call the this plumber to get ahead of the game. (Had not spilled over) Initially the response time was appropriate. The plumber stated that everything looked fine and told us a drain clean out was unnecessary. Billed us $88. 4 days later, we had a back up. Call the company back. Was told someone would come back out since they were just here. My husband was told on a phone call that they would call him "right back" to verify a time would work for them. Never heard back that day. Left multiple voicemails and never heard back. Ended up utilizing a different company. Buyer beware.
