Most unprofessional OWNER

Didn't even get as far as a phone call, well, SEVERAL phone calls until the owner called back to basically curse me out stating he "ain't got time to service my residence" and "to stop threatening that you'll keep calling." I wasn't threatening; I was actually calling to get someone to call me back. I was in need of service, haven't had hot water from my brand new water heater and I was only using them after my water heater's manufacturer told me to call them, as they would cover the costs of repair. I called for a WEEK straight with no call back whatsoever to finally get a call from the owner who was right off the bat huffy and , yet all anyone there could have done was relay a message back to their "call center" to state they were unable to assist due to being shorthanded, COVID, etc. Instead, I had to call and leave messages for someone to call me back for days on end. The call center stated someone would call to set up an appointment, with each time having my call log history, yet

I really wanted to give these guys five stars, and intended to while the work was being done because they actually did good work and were super fast about it. But when it came time to pay I was unable to get a hold of my landlord over the phone and it took continuous phone calls to do so. I told them that payment was pre arranged and it was just a matter of getting a hold of them, but they refused to leave the house. I'm by myself and felt very harassed. Then the owner of the company called me and when I explained that I was still trying to contact someone He spoke to me less than professionally. I work for myself in a service industry too. I understand how it feels to worry about not getting paid, but you can't treat every customer like they're going to rip you off, especially when they are in the process of trying to pay you. They wouldn't allow a simple call back, which would have made life easier for everyone. In the end it took an hour to reach my land lord., and they got paid. Now they say they may charge an extra 25.00 for making them wait, which I never asked them to do in the first place and was a serious imposition. JMJ could have just let us call them back without being creepy about it.

This plumbing company came recommended by my home warranty company to fix a leak around the base of my toilet, the man scheduling to appt said the leak could be caused by several components in the toilet and might not be actually leaking from the seal. First of all they were scheduled to come to my Home between 9:00-9:30am on a Monday morning. At no time during scheduling this appt did the man tell me that he would call to confirm before coming out. So Monday morning rolled around and because I didn’t answer my cell phone at 8:30 (it was in another room) he told me he sent his technicians somewhere else after I called him back fifteen minutes later. The technicians finally got out to my house at 2 pm. They put an extension on the flange and a new wax seal I told them that we had already replaced the seal and that the toilet was still leaking. Their response was that the flange was too low but that the extender they put in would resolve the problem. I specifically asked if they would come back to look at the toilet again if the leak was not fixed. They said yes they would and that I wouldn’t have to pay them the service fee again since it would be on the same work order. I paid them and they left. Later that evening after getting off work came home and the toilet was still leaking. Promptly called the warranty company and they said that the report from the plumber stated that the flange was too low due to a remodel and that I need to have that whole pipe redone. I tried explaining that this remodel was done prior to us purchasing the home and that the toilet was not leaking for the first two months that we lived there and that if this was a construction issue that it would have been leaking since day one when we moved in and our home inspection would have reflected this. I also told them that the technicians said they would come back out to take another look if it was still leaking. I tried telling them that my husband and I suspected the toilet was leaking from somewhere else but the plumbing company refused to come back out to my house to take another look they quoted me $400 to fix the pipe and that was all they were going to do for me. So they stole my hundred dollars for the service fee and my toilet was still leaking. After putting a leak finder tablet in the toilet we found out the tank was leaking not the seal or the flange just like we suspected. So I would never ever recommend this company to anybody. If your home warranty uses this company do yourself a favor and tell them you’d like to use someone else they do have other contracted plumbers in this area!!!

I recently bought a mobile home that had water service turned off for about a month. When the water was turned back on, I had no water pressure. I had JMJ and another local company come out to diagnose the problem. JMJ's competitor charged me $160 just to show up and offered as a solution to re-plumb my house for $3,500. JMJ sent Mike, the owner's son, to diagnose the problem. He diagnosed and fixed it in about an hour. Turns out the supply lines and aerators on the sinks just had some sentiment in em that got caught up, clogging the taps. We just cleaned them up a bit and I had normal pressure again. Didn't even charge me anything. Ultimately, I highly recommend JMJ. Saved my $3,500, fixed my water. Request Mike, he's a good guy, professional. My only complaint is that I had to reschedule from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening. Not a biggie since this wasn't an emergency. I'm sure with the recent freeze, they had more pressing matters to attend to.

BEWARE!!! WANTED ALMOST $5000 FOR A $250 JOB! We had a leak under our slab of our new home that could be seen from the side of the house because it had been repaired before. Our new home warranty company referred this plumber. First, they never called us like they were supposed to. Then, after we called, they showed up at 3pm for a 9am appointment and then said they couldn't do the repair that day because it was too late on Friday. They would come back 1st thing Monday. Then they never showed up Monday until after we called, spent less than 10 minutes (never even turned the water off) and said that the owner of the plumbing company would have to do an estimate. (All the while, water was leaking under the slab) It took a full week to finally get an estimate with the owner saying he called us the day before - yet no missed calls or voicemail showed up on the cell phone. Then, for a leak that ended up being due to broken clamp under the slab & costing us $250 for a reputable plumber to do a permanent fix, they said they would not fix it because it would require tearing up the slab & could leak again and WANTED TO RE-PLUMB THE ENTIRE HOUR TO THE ATTIC FOR NEARLY $5000 (NOT INCLUDING repair of the interior when they were done). The plumber we had fix it said that nobody from this company had even bothered really looking at the cause of the leak. The ground under the slab had been completely undisturbed. I hope they don't rip anyone off like they tried to rip us off!
