This is one of the most unique courses I have ever played. The back nine plays over a very deep rock quarry and several of the holes require drives over huge open spaces. Very fun and not a difficult course for the average player. Very well maintained and in a wonderful part of San Antonio. It is definitely worth the money.

For early January, course was in great shape, greens ran smooth and true. Staff and crew were all friendly. Sand traps were actually sandy, not hard packed like most courses are right now. New addition to the driving range is at net about 300 yards out so now you can hit practice range driver and balls don't roll into pond

Great place to play a round of golf. Course is in good shape, fairway and greens best I have played the past month.

Very unique course that is a must play in San Antonio. Great condition. The back nine is in the quarry and plays narrow, but the front nine offers more positional challenge off the tee with fewer opportunities to use driver. UPDATE: I have now played this course a few more times and have changed my rating from five to four stars. The view of the back nine is definitely unique, but because you can see all nine holes, you never feel secluded from the other golfers. The back nine just plays narrow without any fun obstacles or positioning challenges. It’s worth a round if you get it at a deal, but because it is as expensive as better options (Hyatt Hills, Palmer), I’ve started taking visitors elsewhere.

We had our annual guys trip starting here and glad we did the experience was awesome starting with check in fast simple and friendly “no stuck up proshop people” just good guys the practice facility was great also, then off to hole number one the starter was very friendly also he noticed we had a few older guys so he allowed them 90 degree handicap flags “it was raining so cart paths only” which inthought was cool! But the course is ridiculous it has so many features just a beautiful scenery we will be going back !!!! Thanks again guys
